Had to pay for a prescription! I called before going in and my insurance was approved for an exam and eye glass prescription. After taking my co-pay and starting the exam more paperwork was presented requiring an additional $35 non-refundable fee "just in case" the insurance did not cover the exam needed for prescriptions. I felt this was a bait and switch like at a cheap used car lot. Everything was approved and done but I could not get my prescription without paying extra. My prescription was held hostage! I have never heard of a doctor doing an exam and then charging for the prescription. Even without using insurance I could have gone anyplace else in town and paid less for an exam and prescription. After talking with the office manager the prescription was mailed to me. The medical care was good. If you go in please be sure that all your paperwork and insurance questions are answered and you understand them before anything is done.

Worst eye doctor I have ever been to. After waiting 20 minutes past my appointment time I was asked to wait in an additional waiting room for 40 minutes. Then when the the doctor tried to convince me that I had a stigmatism she also convinced me I need a new brand of contacts, one that she was I sure being paid to sell. when my contacts didnt fit in my eye, her office tried to charge me for a new fitting. Finally the doctor exchanged the remaining contacts I had left for trial pairs of the lenses I initially wanted; which I was grateful for. Six moths later when I try to get my prescription they give me a prescription for the lenses that dont fit. Then they want to charge me an additional 60 dollars to refit the contacts I have been wearing comfortably for Six months. Just so I can get the right prescription in the first place. This place is a joke, if you value your time and your money avoid this place at all cost.

I concur all of the reviews below! The office has its priorities backward. Just the simplest thing like parking spaces. The reserves all of the parking spaces next to the office for the staffs while the rest of the customers have to walk across the street to get to their office because the have limited parking spaces. They even placed the ADA parking space away from the front door! Thats just 101 business fundamental customer service every business owners know. Dont get me started on customer service and wait time! Id rate them a negative ten (-10). The should NOT be in service until the owner and all staffs take some customer service skills training! Avoid this place if you value your time and respect!

Sitting here in the waiting room, as usual. I thought it was just coincidence the past few times I waited over an hour past my scheduled appointment, but, it is definitely the norm for this practice. And as usual, theres nothing you can do about it. Way too many people in the waiting room, so many that the little waiting area in the back was full and they were putting people back out in he main one. Dont waste your time with this place,you will be sorry. But if you do make an appointment, dont come until at least 45 minutes after. I am now actively searching for another ophthalmologist.

This was my first visit for a medical eye exam. The staff at checking was courteous and quick. The wait to be examined was not that bad. I would say 30 minutes. Once in the back, the staff I encountered were efficient and courteous. Each step of the procedure was explained. My eye exam was done by Dr. Pathiyil. She took her time examining my eyes and thoroughly explained my problem. She suggested follow up in 30 days. I had no problems with the office I visited ( St. Cloud) other than the wait time. I will definitely return in 30 days and in the future for my vision needs.

Im sitting in the waiting room right now and I have been here for 1.5 hours and then some. Im only here for a contact lens exam. Why is it taking so long. A man actually came in to check on his mom he dropped off two hours prior?? Seriously?? I have also seen another man leave. My first problem is no one checks with the patients to give them a status they just leave people sitting. We have lives to,,, you know! So maybe next time if you want to have a practice, dont overbook and dont ignore the patient and leave them in limbo while they are giving up their afternoon to see you!

HORRIBLE service. They tried to charge me for an exam when I went to for a lease fitting. $60 for me to tell them they were not comfortable. Seriously? When 2 weeks ago I was there for the same thing and only had to pay $10 copay. I will not be referring you to anyone and I will never step foot back in your offices. The girls at the desk had no clue what they were doing and they were all rude!!!

The appointment was at 7:45 And we saw the doctor slip though the side door at 8:40. She is also very rude. She slams you with a bunch of information and doesnt even ask if you have questions. Shes very. Customer service here is awful. Dont waste your time with this place. They also have another location in Kissimmee. If you dont mind waiting hours to see the doctor this is the place for you

Poor service got forigen opjects in my eye Im a combat veteran and fought for the liberties this doc of oriental decent has and due to not having the whole five hundred up front she wouldnt see me I now have lost 50 percent vision in my eye due to her not helping me thanks to Dr. Burry I have that much

I went to the kissimmee office and got in at my appointment time. I only waited for a couple minutes in the waiting room and had my glasses fixed while I was waiting to go back for my exam. My experience was very positive and will be going back.
