After my dentist, also in Plantation, stopped accepting insurance of all types, I decided to try a local dentist in Weston that was on my Insurances list of providers. What an enormously huge mistake that was as it turned out to be one of those factories that provide you with a list of "problems" that need immediate attention or my mouth would disintegrate right then and there. Well, enough was enough. After consulting a co-worker, Dr Ongley came highly recommended and, 7 years later, I couldnt be happier. The 7 cavities claimed to exist by that dental-money factory turned out to be two when examined by a highly competent Dr Ongley who has no need to overbill or fabricate stories of impending dental crises. She is a one-woman operation and that makes this entire experience just that much better. Theres no competition for patients. Shes the boss, period. She also knows her limitations and will gladly refer patients to specialists when appropriate. I drive 30 minutes from Weston...45 after work in rush hour traffic...and never give it a second thought. If you are looking for a new dentist, why not give her a try? I did, and now Im writing her a review on Google! And no, I dont get a discount on my next visit for doing this, though Id gladly accept it if offered!!!

After my wife and I spent thousands of dollars on root canals, crowns, fillings and different procedures. We scheduled a cleaning and when we had to cancel they wanted to charge us a $25 cancellation fee. Yes we did sign a form when we became patients of theirs that stated there would be a $25 cancellation fee for appointments. But when I told Candace the office manager that if they charged me $25 it would be the last $25 they ever made off me she was not too concerned with losing a customer over it. In another instance on separate occasions both my wife and I had crowns made and on order through their office. We scheduled an appointment two weeks later to have the crowns installed. On the day of my wifes appointment they called her 10 minutes before her appointment and told her the crown was not there and not to come. And on the day of my appointment to have my crown installed I waited over an hour for their delivery driver to deliver my crown and ended up leaving without my crown installed. If youre going to charge $25 for a cancellation you better have your stuff at your office together.

Dr. Ongley was great. She cares a lot about her patients. I was terrified about dentists before I saw Dr. Ongley due to previous experience. However Dr. Ongley is extremely gentle and fast. I didnt feel any discomfort at all. I am very happy that I have her as my dentist.

The best dentist in Plantation. Her staff is friendly and courteous. Dr. Ongley really cares about her patients and is very detailed with her work. Her and her staff will do everything they can to make your visit comfortable.

Great experience. Dr. Ongley was honest and direct. No pushing for extra services I didnt need and no lollygagging; I was in and out with x-rays, examination and teeth cleaning in less than 2 hours.
