I recently took my son for his 6 month check up. The tech who did the xrays looked like she had no experience using the machine. The photos came out with the tooth cut off or at an opposite angel. It literally took her 10 tries just to get a good photo of the left bottom side. Then Dr stated he had a cavity on a molar and needed a crown on his baby tooth. Something inside told me something was not right. I declined the procedures and took my son to another dentist for a 2nd opinion. The new place stated my son didnt even have a cavity in his mouth to begin with and there was no need for any procedures to be done. Later on that week, while speaking to a close friend. I mentioned my experience at the dentist. It was a coincidence that she also takes her son to the same dentist (Pediatric Dental Land) and was not happy with the experience. The dr had advised to put 1 crown over the baby tooth. My friend allowed the dr to proceed with the 1 crown. The dr ended up putting 3 crowns in her sons mouth and then suggested to put 3 more on the other side. my friend declined the other 3 and is going for a 2nd opinion as well. I WOULD SUGGEST PEOPLE GET A 2ND OPINION BEFORE YOU ALLOW THE DR TO PUT CROWNS IN YOUR KIDS MOUTH. To me it looks like the dr tries to place crowns for more money when they are not needed.

My daughter had her first visit and she was super nervous. I thought it was really sweet that the dental assistant took her time to explain everything with her and even allowed her to be a "helper" to ease her nerves. I wish I wouldve gotten her name again as I forgot to give her due credit. She was really sweet with her. My only concern, which isnt even super big maybe me more being picky, is I feel if its the first time to the dentist you should meet the dentist first and I didnt even meet him until the very end and for a few minutes. There wasnt an introduction or anything, he appeared kind, smiled and was soft spoken at the end when he asked if I had any questions, at that point though I was a bit shocked that there was no formal introduction no explanation of routine care for daughter, I get shes young but I feel thats still important. Ill go back of course because the assistant was great. All in all not a bad place. My daughter loved getting the coin to get a toy at the end.

What I like the most about taking my children to Pediatric Dental Land is the excellent personalized service, I have been in other pediatric offices in the area and they are like factories, the take forever and the have a lot of patients schedule at the same time,in Pediatric Dental Land, they dont waste your time, the facility is very nice and modern, Dr is very knowledgable, is a real pediatric specialist and friendly staff, definitely recommended if you are looking for a good place for you and your children

The office is clean and the staff is very friendly. I have never had a wait longer than 10 minutes. My daughter is very sensitive to light and, without me asking or my daughter causing a scene, the hygienist promised not to use the light while she was doing the cleaning. The dentist is always smiling and tries to engage both the parents and the kids. He does not do unnecessary work just because he can because you may not know any better. I would recommend this office to every parent.

This place is just amazing, from the receptionist to the assistants and the doctor. I had and excellent experience with my sons. The ambiance is very nice and clean. Dr. DAlessandria is very kind and professional. HIGHLY RECOMMEND to all parents.
