The office manager is rude and unprofessional. She cares more about policy and money more than the welfare of the patients. I went in for an emergency extraction because I was in so much pain and the office manager stated that she needed pre-approval from my insurance carrier before the oral surgeon could do the extraction. I called my insurance carrier and they told her that if it is an emergency then they could do the extraction without pre-approval (she was rolling her eyes as she was talking to my insurance carrier) and when she was done she handed me back the phone and walked away from me like I was nothing. I tried talking to her but she kept ignoring me like I wasnt even there and after waiting 10 minutes as she walked around talking to other people and completely dismissing me and my questions she came back and said that she is not going to allow the emergency extraction without pre-approval. I understand policy and procedure but when it comes to a patients health, policy and procedure should be thrown out the window especially when the insurance company tells you that you dont need pre-approval in an emergency situation. That lady does not belong in the medical field and that dentist office should fire her and hire someone that understands policy, procedure and compassion towards the patients. This lady lacks any kind of compassion and professionalism and doesnt belong in any part of the medical field. The rest of the staff were wonderful and compassionate.

My daughter and I went to this practice once. When I left, I remarked to my daughter that I felt like I was at a corporate auto shop, you know, the kind that you visit for an oil change and they try to up-sell you several other costly services. Honestly, I had never experienced this before in a medical office. My daughter was told that she had 6 cavities and that in order to get to them, they would have to remove her braces. The removal alone, $500. Conveniently, they have an orthodontist on staff. I was told that I had the beginning of periodontal disease and that I needed a deep cleaning at the cost of about $475. One week later, we went to another dentist. My daughter has two cavities, both on the top of the teeth. So, instead of 6 cavities, only 2! In addition, there was no need to remove the braces. The fillings could be done without the braces being removed, so another $500 saved there. For me, no sign AT ALL of periodontal disease. Not. Even. Close. So, no need for a $475 deep cleaning. So, all in all, we saved well over $1000 by going to a dental office that shoots straight with you. I guess some dental practices, like corporate auto repair shops, work off of commission as well.

I made my appointment by phone. The morning of my appointment I called to make sure I was going to the right office because they have two in my area. SAMANTHA must not know where she works because she sent me to the wrong location. After I got to the office for my consultation I went in they did the X-ray exam and everything. Once they gave me my paperwork stating how much everything will cost I noticed my insurance was not included so I pointed it out. MELISSA said she would call my insurance and email me my updated paperwork within 10 minutes. I called back once I realized I have yet to receive the email. She said shell get on it. A week went by I still have no email with the new paperwork so I called she said shell call and email it asap. TWO WEEKS went by she still has yet to send me the email so I had my aunt call she said the same thing to her ass well. I decided to call my insurance they said they never received a call from them so they called instead. Till this very day MELISSA has not sent me an email but I just went to a better orthodontist office instead of wasting my time with these unprofessional wanna be dental assistants

After 1 year of treatment they probably will tell you that they have to remove the wisdom tooth or others teeth. If you dont want to do it because the surgery can cost like 10000$ they will tell you that they are not continuing the treatment because it is medically necessary for the treatment to work...The bad news is that you will have to pay anyways the contract, so you have to pay 1200 to cancel the contract with is included the removal of the orthodontics and the retainer, so even if you take out the orthodontics with your tools lol.... they will charge you any WAY.. and there is no doctor out of this office that will remove it ..... because is unprofessional" to remove orthodontics from other office . So.... Think before you stared the treatment in this office, and every time I went there I wait 1 hour in each appointment... but if u are late they will charge you for loose the appointment...I remember one time I have the appointment and the office was close for a Congress, but nobody call me to let me know... my son loose a test at school for that appointment..... BY THE WAY SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH LOL,.. I try

Where do I start. I definitely would never recommend this place to the devil himself. The staff has no idea what they are doing. They dont care about your childs teeth at all. Worst place I could have ever taken my child to. Please dont take your child here. They will reap you off and not even do the job that they were suppose to do in the first place. I hope this place goes out of business along with there doctors and employees. FYI.. the only reasn why there us a star bubbled in is because I woudbe able to post this if I didnt.. NOOO STARS FOR GEAT EXPRESSIONS .. HORRIBLE !!!!!!!!!!!! WILL NEVER RECOMMEND!!!

My 9 year old son had a great fair of Dentist . He would have a panic attack whenever he sits in the Dentist chair . However at Great Expression dental on Atlantic Blvd , Dr Shana Hernandez was able to ease my sons fears and she was able to fill 2 cavities and a extraction without my son having a panic attack . Dr Hernandez is a miracle worker. Thank God we found her otherwise I would have had to have my son sedated in order to perform these dental procedures. I strongly recommend Dr Shana Hernandez at Great Expressions Dental Atlantic Blvd , Coral Springs.

The staff there is very unprofessional. I called them, and said if they are over changing me. Because the insurance give me different amounts that i have to pay ($14), but the staff from this dental office very rude and said NO that is the correct amount u have to pay (almost $300). They dont even what to hear what i try to explain to them. NEVER AGAIN GO TO CORAL SPRINGS GREAT EXPRESSIONS OFFICE!!!

I am very pleased and satisfied with the service we received today we eere seen almost immediately. Dr hernandez did a great job with my daughters teeth. And the rest of her team was very professional they smiled and greeted us from the minute we walked in. We were in and out in no time. Im sticking withn this office, and also will be recommanding it to others.
