I was very impressed with my first visit to Dr. Tiffany Torrans Malone OD and Big Bend Family Eye Care. Dr. Tiffany had taken care of my eyes when she previously worked for a large eye care outfit in Tallahassee and I looked her up on Google after she left to open her own solo practice. She has a very modern office with high tech equipment--some of which I had never seen before. I was particularly impressed with the new technology for photographing my retinas that eliminated the need for dilating pupils. The equipment displays the retina images on a large (50+ inch) flat monitor in the private examination room that allows for a detailed study and discussion of the health of the retinas. Dr. Tiffany and her staff were very helpful and informative in using the large images to explain the condition of my retinas with me. I look forward to returning for my next annual checkup.

My sons eye specialist is in Orlando so I ordered his set of lenses and frames for his eye condition here in case we had any warranty concerns. The doctor here was very helpful even though we were only ordering glasses. His regular doctor confirmed the prescription was filled perfectly. I was also pleased with the price of the frames and lenses. I called around before ordering and found this office to be very competitive.

Dr. Malone was friendly and professional. This was my first visit to Big Bend Family Eye Care after changing doctors due to new insurance. I had a complete exam for contacts and eyeglasses. The staff was friendly and helpful. BBFEC also has a great selection of brand name frames. I picked out a pair that I may actually wear out of the house some days instead of contacts.
