The only reason why I stayed at this place was because they were somewhat close by and I knew one of the office staff members. Unfortunately I have had enough. I have had multiple occasions where they prescribe me something general hoping it solves my problem. They are now trying to charge me for missed appointments when I tried calling to check on times and was hung up on three times. Office staff is ridiculous and they got rid of the best arnp that they had awhile ago. I have never been able to actually see the Dr. because they only schedule for arnp even after asking to speak/meet with the Dr. Even had one arnp pull out her phone and look up a medication right in front of me to see if she should prescribe it to me. I have been taking medication for 3 years and all of a sudden they wont refill it because they want me to pay them for lab work. GMS has a great group of practices but this is not one of them. They need to drop them as fast as they can.

I will not go into all the details but please know that I do not usually post reviews unless I feel very strongly about something. I would highly discourage you from choosing Dr Corraos office. The office staff was not bad, the environment was fine. The Dr. was ALWAYS running late. I have usually had to wait for up to an hour past my appointment time to see the Dr and he is always in & out...always felt rushed & like I couldnt ask questions. It is so hard to find a good Dr. And In the end, after we had already chosen to go to a new Dr, they had called us regarding a $37 outstanding balance that they were turning over to COLLECTIONS!! A bill that we had never received prior. And the billing office tells me they send out 5 statements before turning over to collections...I was so frustrated! Anyways, to sum up...if you are looking for a new Dr. in Tampa, I would continue your search!

I made them my primary because I didnt have one, and the office was close by....this was almost 6 years ago. I have been overall happy with them. Front desk people can be snooty at times, but if you go, their ARNP Tara is AWESOME! Id make an appt with her if you cant see Dr Corrao (I honestly havent even seen him in years) She is very helpful and knowledgable. I always can be seen or squeezed in last minute, and I havent waited long there at all. I go to the location off Sheldon Rd, Tara told me their main location off Amberly/BBD (which is closer to me) but I have never been so I couldnt tell you how it was.

For self pay its very reasonable, Nurse Practitioner Joslyn is very good in answering any questions and is very thorough. Like that they do blood work in house front desk are nice and professional, never had an issue.
