I have only been to this practice twice. My first time, I thought the staff was below par. I found them to be rude and extremely brief. However, after I saw the doctor, I forgot about how bad the front desk was. Dr. Shital Mehta is great, but the front desk is the complete opposite. The second time I go back is for my follow up, which was about a month later. I enter the office excited to tell my doctor I am feeling much better, and want to discuss an injury I sustained while working out. I get to the front desk, and the first thing the lady at the desk says is, "You dont have an appointment today.” I respond to her rather heavy-handed nature with, “Sure I do. Every appointment I have gets logged into my phone calendar. I havent missed an appointment since the stone age.” I show her my calendar, and she says, “We called you and left a message.” I explain that all my voicemails get stored as text messages, which I go through to make updates to my calendar if needed. She says, “Whats your number?” I give her my phone number, and she says, “Oh thats why, we don’t have the right number". I say, “Well, I gave you the right number, and how can you make changes to my appointment without even speaking to me?” She says, "Thats our policy, what day would you like to reschedule your appointment?" Her tone is completely devoid of any consideration or compassion for the time I took out of my work to be here. She is absolutely apathetic to my situation, and for every bit of apathetic, she is equally unapologetic. Not once she did she utter a “sorry” or verbalize any inkling of caring. Fed up I say, “Why do you have to talk to me in the manner in which you are talking to me?” She says, “It’s our policy, and the doctor is in a meeting.” I respond, “I get the context of the situation, but you can change the way you handle the situation.” She looks at me with a perplexed look, and says, “Are you going to reschedule or not?" I respond with, “You upset me, and Im leaving”, and I leave. My girlfriend stays behind to ask the front desk ladys name. She said her name is Dee. Im going to the office tomorrow to make a complaint to their office manager and the doctor--wish me luck! Until then, I suggest anyone who makes an appointment at this office to know that the front desk lady named Dee is one of the most unpleasant people I have had to ever deal with in a medical practice. Keep in my mind, I lived in third world countries before!

Dr. Mehta is amazing, but the front desk staff is...difficult... When our insurance changed with the new year (2015-2016), and we provided the new insurance information to them they, or whomever they contract to perform their billing still managed to send it through the old insurance company. I have called and provided the correct information to them on at least 7 occasions now - - and just received yet another bill because they continue to send it to the wrong insurance company. It has been a year now...This is beyond frustrating.

Staff is extremely rude. Have to call back several times if you want something accomplished. Front desk always has an attitude and does not care about patients what so ever.
