I dont like this Doctors office. The wait time is 1-2 plus hours, the lobby is so small and congested, small parking space, Dr. Julia Barriga is never hardly there, its usually other Doctors instead. One of them told me my baby test were negative then after taking her back a week later another Doctor said yes, she still has strep. Oh my gosh, that was so upsetting! I told her that the other Doctor didnt say she had strep last time, she said all the tests were negative and that it was just a cold. Well, this Doctor said no all the test were negative except for strep& an ear test. Thats so negligent because my baby treatment was delayed for a extra week because something so important was overlooked. She ended up getting medicine that day, that she should have already had. Also, if your child is sick they use to get you in quick but now theyll try to give you an appointment far away (Over a week when I called). The bad part is even when you take your child to the er they tell you to follow up with the primary care Doctor in 1-2 days but their too busy to see their patients for a sick visit. I feel like they need to cut down on trying to continuously get so many new patients through the door& work on being better& taking care of their current patients needs first, because it seem like they arent staffed properly for the amount of patients that they keep getting. Dr. Muniz is the Doctor I prefer there because shes very good, but my baby havent seen her lately. Im not pleased with the service there lately and will be looking into other places.

Do not ever by any chance bring your child here. My appt was at 9:20 am. I got stuck in traffic and called to let them know. Arrived at 9:30 am. At 11:00 am I was still in the room waiting and hearing a lot of chatting and laughs among the staff. Went out and asked if any one would see me any time soon. Then the PN took my childs chart and was with us in 5 mins. They had to be reminded? Once in, she did not even knew what the appt was about and was just asking the same questions as a first time patient... Long story short I stopped her and left to look for another Dr. I am trying to get my co pay back and in the process to speak to the manager who they said is there once or twice per week. In addition, this appt was set because I called them after 2 weeks of lab work to follow up with the results. My daughter had to come back as per the labs outcomes, but they just did not call me. So if you have another option for your child, do not choose this one.

El mejor lugar en Tampa donde puedes ir y sentirte en confianza de que tus hijos estan en buenas manos. Yo en lo personal viajo desde Town and Country para atender a mis ni-as porque estoy muy complacida con el trato de todo el personal. Las doctoras son muy amables y se preocupan por la salud de mis ni-as. Te ayudan en todo lo que necesites que sea necesario referridos, medicinas, consultas en fin de todo. Muy complacida. I have 2 children that come to Dr. Julia Barriga Practice and I must say that the staff and Physicians are always a joy to be around with. Being a mom of 2 and a 3rd baby on the way at times I can forget when my children next appointments are due but at Dr. Barriga practice I can always assure that I will get a reminder call to help me keep track. When I get to my children app like every practice there can be a waiting period but I can assure that my children will be entertained. Dr Barriga facilitates snacks, movies and balloons for the kids to brighten up their day. Although all these perks are a Bonus of course as a Mom my interest is the quality of care and when it comes to my children health I feel at ease with the Physicians Professionalism and care. I would recommend this practice to all parents seeking a Team of Caring Professionals that Provide the best Pediatric quality of care.

I went to Dr. Barriga because she was literally five minutes from my place and, Im normally a very patient person but this place was horrible with their service. The Front Receptionist was very rude and almost a bit guetto in a sense that she talked like someone in high school talking to their friend and not a patient. I couldnt get assistance on the phone trying to find the office for my appointment when I called twice and they where no help the second time I returned. I went there three times and my wait time was always and hour to two hours long, so Dr. Barriga could see my four year old for five minutes. I eventually switched HMO to Dr. Hiben in Temple Terrace and the environment was completely different. I would not recommend this place at all.

ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS OFFICE!! I am a new mom of a newborn via c-section, they had me waiting in a DIRTY and OVERPACKED waiting room for 2 hours. When I did finally get to see the doctor she told me my child had a rash and she never checked the size of her head, never looked in her diaper basically checked her weight and length and that was all. I had to go to a new pediatrician to find out that my child has to see a specialist!!! I AM ANGRY AND ANNOYED WITH THIS OFFICE. Dr. Barriga is ok but we saw Dr. Muniz, I suggest she get some new Doctors, nurses and receptionist working in her office! If I could rate this lower I would!

The only times that I can say I had wait more that 30 minutes is when Ive been a walk-in. Other than that when Ive had appointments my waiting time has never been more that 20 minutes between lobby and triage. Dr. Barriga had seen my kids only once, but Dr. Acevedo who is an excellent Dr. has taken care of them pretty good...cant complain. The only downside about this office is the facility itself is uncomfortable and small for the amount of patients that they receive and the parking is very inaccessible and most of the time full...Wish the could move to a newer, more comfortable location around the area...

I was waiting for 2 and a half hours and just for her to come in the room look at my daughter for 2 minutes and write a prescription. After that visit I received a bill in the mail with a hand written note on it advising I owe 100.69 for my visit. When my daughter had complete coverage at the time. I called the office to try and get this taken care of and was ion hold for 45min. They have the worst service, nasty office, office does not speak very good English and staff always acts as if they have something better to do than assist clients. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!

Se demoran mucho en atender a los niños, te dan cita para una hora y te llaman casi a la hora de estar sentado esparando, en la ultima consulta que lleve a mi hijo estue en total 2 horas , es una falta de espeto, ademas la supuesta doctora Barriga jamas atiende a los niños.
