Went in to get an eye exam and new glasses. When I sat down with the young girl there and saw my new RX, I expressed my concern on the major change in my RX, she told me it was cause I was getting older, even though I knew better than that. I told her there was no way my RX changed that much in a year. Well.... Come to find out.... I was right! When I picked up my new glasses, everything was blurry. The Dr that did the exam, didnt do it properly. So I had to go back in a week later and get another exam with a different Dr. And when I had my second exam, the girl that told me it was my age, stuck to her story when I told her she should have listened to me when I told her the RX was wrong! Now Ive had wait another week to find out if the new RX is going to be correct. They didnt do anything to compensate me for this disaster, just gave me a new exam. Smh

Best place ever!!!!! staff was EXTREMELY friendly and very helpful. Doctor was very thorough. VERY reasonable prices i have gone to lenscrafters and vision works and paid $500 for only ONE pair of glasses!!!!!! will be coming back thanks again!!! only downside is the echo of the place because the place is so big BUUUUT I rather it be big and echo than tight and cramped and for the people down there saying that the prices are unreasonable they are really not. they have different packages that are cheap options but if you need extras you cant expect to pay nothing for it ! come on people . not FREE. they checked what my insurance paid for and their packages were cheaper than what my insurance covered. . most insurance covers close to NOTHING. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!

Worst eyeglass place ever! Don’t ever go to the Optical Outlets in Tarpon Springs, I don’t know if it was the incompetence of the doctor or the staff but when I finally got my glasses they were the worst glasses I have ever had (and I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 3) I can barely see out of them (except for maybe a dime size area in the middle, so I have to hold my head just right to see anything clearly) You’d expect after spending $300 dollars (yes don’t get fooled by the advertizing your glasses will cost a lot more than you might be lead to believe) you would expect to at least see out of them., but they just give me a headache.

EVERY time I need something from this particular store they are very accommodating, from the optometrist to the sales personnel to the the assistant at the desk. I have had my eye exams and purchased my glasses exclusively from Tarpon Optical Outlets for several years and have been treated with respect and courtesy EVERY time, whether it is for an exam and purchase of 2 pairs of glasses or a minor adjustment to the frames I already own. Please dont change anything about this store-it is already the best in town (and I have tried many).

As prospective customers, we visited the store this week and the receptionist was busy typing and did not greet us, nor did she state she would be with us shortly. The couple in front of us also waited for a long time before the receptionist acknowledged their presence, and did not acknowledge us at all. I do not know how any facility that has prospective customers can allow them to leave the shop due to lack of basic customer service. Very bad experience for sure, and we will not support this business at all.

My appointment was for 2:45 and was advised to arrive 15 minutes early , I did not see the doctor until 3:30 and was advised the doctor was running behind. The doctor was very thorough and professional ,Maria in the eyeglass center was. very knowledgable and professional as well as helpful and very personable. The overall experience was very good with the only negative aspect of being behind. I would return as repeat customer

Ive been a returning customer for several years now and have never had any complains. The staff is very professional and the store is well organized and neat. Glasses are less expensive than in other stores and the frame collections they carry is huge. I highly recommend this store to anybody as I always had a pleasant experience and left with reasonably priced quality glasses.

From examination, to fitting, and pickup, a great experience!! The doc was patient, and listened to the vision problems I was having, and took time to make sure the exam would give me the best results. Susan took time to help me pick out the perfect frames. She is so patient. If you need an exam, go to Tarpon Optical Outlet!

We went to Tarpon Springs location because store in Clearwater canceled our appointment. What a pleasant surprise! So much better than Clearwater store. Andrea treated us like family and the eye doctor took great care to make sure we had the right prescription. Also, got great glasses at a great price!

I was tricked by the receptionist into buying contacts at their location !!! She took advantage of me being new to eye insurance and told me if I didnt buy my contacts there that I would lose them and never be able to get them again !! DO NOT TRUST I WILL MAKE SURE NO ONE I KNOW GOES HERE

The staff was outstanding especially Dan. It is so difficult to decide on lenses and he was my eyes to decide what looked nice. The optometrist Dr Birnbaum was very professional and engaging. Would highly recommend for new glasses. Had a fantastic price, also.

Poor selection and poor quality glasses, two times I get glasses and in less then 10 months they break and the second time was even less than 2 months and they tried to just patch the glasses instead of replacing them, I dont think I will be going there again

Would never go here again. They charged me for something that my insurance paid for. They gave the insurance rep the runaround when he called about it. For $35, they lost a customer & I tell everyone I know not to go there.

Dr. was very thorough. Staff was friendly, courtious, and helpful. Office was clean and well laid out. The selection of frames was very good. My glasses arrived quickly and were fitted perfectly.
