Went in there to have a tooth pulled with coast dental DMO insurance. Was charged $120 for a visit to check my teeth, take x-rays, and a cancer screening that I did not want. They asked me about the $120 and I agreed thinking I was getting my tooth pulled. Well apparently that was only for the exam. They handed me a bill for $659 for one tooth to be pulled and said it could be more if he could not get all the tooth and had to call in an oral surgeon. He told me I could save the tooth for around $1400. I asked about why my insurance did not cover anything and they said basically because my insurance only pays so much and they charge more or something. I was literally in tears because I couldnt afford it and this tooth was killing me. The dentist seemed ok, but the place was kind of dirty. There was dust, plaster cracking from the wall, and the equipment seemed old, but this was the only place I could go with my insurance unless I waited another 2 month, which I couldnt with my tooth. Well I remembered a place I went and had a tooth pulled five years ago and went back there to see how much it would cost without insurance because I remember it being a lot cheaper. The dentist office I went to gave me a list of their charges and the feeling of crying went away. Needless to say, it was cheaper. Three times cheaper. I got the tooth removed for $225 total. If I would have needed oral surgery, it would have only been $365. The dentist also told me if he tried to save the tooth I would have an abscess in no time because the tooth was infected. I hate to say rip off, but if the shoe fits. How can one dentist charge three times more than another. Also, the place I went was beautiful compared to this place. I didnt see dust anywhere and I felt like I was in a sterile environment. The dentist explained everything to me and I was comfortable. I dont know about other coast dental places, but stay away from this one unless you have money to burn. It probably isnt ok to name the dentist I went to on here, but I will say the place sounds expensive but its not. Look up dentists in Titusville and youll know what I mean. Hope you find a good dentist.

First off, this location will NOT answer their phones or return voicemails. Today I went in for my first appointment at Coast Dental because my insurance changed and they are covered under my plan. I show up 15 minutes early and the receptionists asked what I was there for. I told her I had a noon appointment and she asked me to be seated. She kindly asked me to reapproach the desk and advised that they tried calling my cell phone (which I provided them earlier this week in person when I set up my appointment) to tell me they would have to reschedule because the doctor didnt have time to do a new patient set up today. When I told her I didnt receive any missed calls or voicemails, she told me the number they had on file was "67". Thats right, "6-7".I suggested they might have tried calling my husbands cell phone instead to reach me and her response was "I dont know your husband. Youre an adult now so you have your own account." Ok... Needless to say, Ill be paying full price to have my teeth cleaned with my lifelong dentist, Dr. Torres, because I really dont have faith in this office.

I came to Dr Wetmore in late summer of 2016. 8 months pregnant and had not seen a dentist in 16 years due to finances and fear. They were all wonderful to me. And very mindful of making sure I was comfortable and pain free. I needed several extractions and had periodontal disease. They saved my mouth! My deep scale cleaning was done professionally and comfortably. They have also worked with me on spacing out my extractions so I can get even closer to a healthy mouth. Today I had my second and third extractions. Through my own fault I let it go too long and developed an awful infection. I walked in yesterday and Dr Wetmore prescribed me antibiotics immediately! They fit me in today at 2. They were nothing but caring. Although Barbara did shake her finger at me for waiting so long :) Im home now with two less troublesome teeth and could not be more satisfied with their services. I highly recommend Coast Dental, Barbara and all of the staff on Garden St.

I dont know how to feel. Im scared of dentist and that hasnt changed. But they were very nice. I think they should have let the numbing agent kick in first instead of injecting me 4 times, my face was numb for 7 hours BUT I didnt feel any pain just a buttload of pressure like they were pushing it up in my nose and eye socket but it finally came out. Three days later it still hurts and Im almost out of pain meds when they made it like I didnt need the pain meds that it wouldnt hurt.... you Do know I just had a TOOTH RIPPED OUT OF MY FACE!!!! Overall I dont really have a problem with them it got done, seems to be alright, they were pretty patient with me considering I was having a panic attack. I dont feel that they were super compassionate but hey not everyone is that way.

Dont know where to start. Family spent years seeing Dr Baker. Very consistent on check ups and X-rays. Both children recently had braces removed and had detailed check ups with orthodontist. Due to a recent insurance change. Family was unable to continue using Dr Baker. Choices were very limited. We made appointment with coast dental. Staff was polite, but seemed like car salesmen. Immediately upon examination, special screening and treatments were offered. Oral Cancer screening $65.00. Special fluoride treatment $40.00. After the staff examined me and two Children, they advised we needed $700.00 in dental work? Simply amazing. Six months earlier we had an all clear, everything was fine. Very disappointed. I contacted coast consumer affairs. Waiting for a response.

This place shouldnt even get a star I am very disappointed and I will never go back my husband had a tooth that needed to be pulled and it was abscessed and they convinced him to get periodontal scaling that cost me $2,000 that he didnt even need I had to take him to the hospital because his face got so swollen and he needed antibiotics! I was pissed! Unfortunately this was the only dentist that accepted his insurance at the time so we had to go back to get his tooth pulled which they finally did this time! They gave him the novocaine and before I could even kick in they pulled his tooth so he felt everything! I will never ever ever go back to this dentist I would rather pay $1,000 somewhere else then to ever go back to this place again!

I give this place negative 590 stars. Called to get a moller pulled. They said it would be 120 to 150$. They physically looked at the tooth befor I even took a seat in the chair. I paid 150$ to the lady at the front desk after filling out 14 pages of paperwork. I went into the room in excruciating pain waiting to get the tooth pulled. They took 2 X-rays then the dentist told me that they did not pull mollers..... You think they would have said that befor I paid them and when i showed them what tooth. I wanted extracted. They wrote me a prescription of antibiotics and some pain killers. Long story short I walked one pissed off SOB.
