Dont waste your time with this place. I made an appointment with the dentist office and provided all the requested insurance information prior to my childs visit. During this conversation, I was told that my insurance was indeed accepted at this office. I then took my daughter in for her first visit. Upon the conclusion of our visit, we paid our co-pay and departed. Two weeks later, I received a call from “The Children Place’s” personnel. They informed me that our insurance was now not accepted as they demanded payment. I then questioned them about our conversation prior to our visit. I reminded them that at this time, they confirmed all my insurance information, they advised they accepted my insurance and they requested my business. No one was able to provide me with an intelligent answer to my question as to why the change. However, the office personnel again demanded payment over the phone without providing an explanation. I then requested to speak to the office manager who I later learned her name to be "Dena". I refused to move forward with any transactions over the phone until I was able to speak with the office manager. For the next month, I called the office on a bi-weekly basis. Each time, I was told “Dena is aware of your situation. However, she’s unavailable to speak with you at this time. On the fifth week, I received a letter form a collection agency for the services rendered. I immediately called the office again to speak with someone in regards to this issue. Upon speaking with the office personnel, they informed me that it was a mix-up in the coding and they will resubmit the bill to my insurance company under to proper code. I requested to speak with the office manager, Dena yet again. I was told she was unavailable…. Today, I finally received a call from the office manager, Dena. Right off the bat, she was condescending and arrogant. I informed her that I’ve made numerous futile attempts to contact her to resolve this issue involving billing. However, she’s made no effort to contact me up to this point. I explained how I felt the whole experience was unprofessional and unethical. Dena stopped me with a chuckle and stated… “I don’t think you used the right term, Unethical…! I then provided Dena several definitions of Unethical; “immoral, dishonorable, dishonest, wrong, unfair, fraudulent, underhanded, sneaky, corrupt. Dena then shouted, “Shut Up and let me talk now!” At this point I had nothing else to say to her. I simply requested billing information so I could pay the bill. I paid my bill and informed her that I will be forwarding this information to highlight my experience to the better business bureau, their website and all the social media sites. It’s not about the money. It’s about principle and treating your customers with dignity and respect. Not to mention, not holding your customer accountable for your staff’s negligence. I’m an employee of a local law enforcement agency and I will certainly pass this along to all my colleagues, family and friends. DO NOT FREQUENT THIS DENTIS OFFICE!!!

The dentist is great. Unfortunately, his staff are incapable of doing their job and are rude. I received a call stating I had an outstanding balance from April and they had mailed multiple bills without response from me. I had just taken my kids in for their 6 month visit not even a month earlier. My first question was, why wouldnt this have been brought to my attention when they were there for their visit? Any other office wouldnt see them if there was an outstanding balance! Well, I asked for another bill to be emailed to me. It took several days for to receive the bill. On the bill, it stated the balance at 60 days and 90 days was $0. There was an amount due at 30 days because my kids were just there. I take my EOBs and proof of Aprils payment into them. The clerk says they made a mistake and apologized. If you call and ask for money and lie and say you sent bills, you can call and apologize. They also neglected to bill my secondary insurance and were going to charge me incorrectly again! Im still waiting on resolution nearly a month later. According to them their billing is not at all connected with the adult dentist; however, I was over billed hundreds of dollars (twice) on the adult side and it took months to receive the refund. Their refunds do come from the same company for both kids and adult dentist. Beware of fraud and check your bills closely! Three mistakes and hundreds of dollars later, Im finding new dentists for my whole family.

I love Dr Issa, he is so great with kids and is very professional. I have 2 sons, one is 3 and went here for his very first dental appointment. He loved it so much, he asks to go back every day! My oldest is 6 and is autistic. The previous dentist I took him to didnt even try working with him to get him through the cleaning, they immediately strapped him down & this instantly made him terrified of the dentist..I didnt have a problem with that at the time, thinking that it was the only way we were going to get it done. He had his first visit with Dr Issa yesterday, & I was amazed at how easily it was for him to work with my son. He didnt strap him down, but instead talked him through the process & offered him extra prizes if he followed directions. We had to start over several times, but Dr Issa never gave up, he kept trying & comforting my son until we got through the cleaning. He also didnt put my son through unnecessary stress, letting me know that we will take baby steps & try x-rays & fluoride next time. I would recommend him to anyone with children, he truly has a gift with kids! I wont be taking my kids to any one else as long as I live here!

My wife took our 2 year old grandson there a couple of weeks ago, and he had a blast! The staff was very patient with him and was able to take all of the xrays and do the whole cleaning. My wife was quite impressed with the great care he received and loved that Dr. Issa sand Moana with him. My wife told me how cute it was watching my grandson dance and sing with the dentist. Back in my day, doctors never tended to us the way Dr. Issa did to my grandson. The girls up front were so sweet and helpful explaining the benefits and helping us fit him in to be seen. My grandson loved it there!

My 10 yo daughters bonded retainer partially detached (she was a patient of another dentist) and was in a good deal of pain. She couldnt eat or sleep. Her regular dentists office said they would "need to call back" to see if the dentist could take her on short notice. The Dentist at Dentist Place for Kids was willing to cut her lunch short to help a patient had never seen before. Needless to say, we have a new dentist!! A++++ BTW... my daughters now "old" dentist never called back!

Dr. Issa has so much patience for his patients. He sings to them, will play their favorite movie or music when doing treatment. Dr Issa and His team plays Trivia games with the kids to keep their mind off the treatment at hand. Clean office and Friendly team members. The girls up front helped me understand my insurance and were efficient in answering any questions I had. Thank you Dentist place for kids! I will definitely refer this office to my Family and friends.
