Just a word of caution: Do not ever bring X-rays from another vets office to this vets office without getting them to sign showing you brought X-rays. I brought X-rays from my previous vets office and four people at this hospital deny that I ever brought them. Make sure you get them to sigh showing they received them. Just wanted Dr. Dan to treat my dog with the same medications she had been on successfully for the last 8 months at another clinic, which was working awesome. He insisted I try one other $70 medication. I asked him what would be the benefits of the medication, and other questions. He left the room, came back in, told me he was going to give me a sample, but that I was very argumentative. Took the 3 medications home. Gave it to my dog 1 1/2 weeks. Noticed a considerable difference. She did nothing but lay down and feel terrible. Called on a Tuesday to tell them I wanted to take her off of the $70 medication. Janey said I would not advise that. That is against the vets policy, and hes out of town until Friday. I said when you hear from him today would you tell him what I want to do and call me back. Waited until Friday, when he was supposed to be back in town, until 2. Never heard from anyone. Its obvious that he either doesnt want my business, doesnt care, or is way to busy, so I will be picking up my records and moving on. Thats the good thing about living in America. Theres lots of choices. He was out of line when He told me I was argumentative, and I should have left then. How can you judge someone in 30 minutes or less, unless youre God. I live with my dog every day. Who is he to decide what I should give my dog if its very obvious to me its not working well for her. Whats the use of being alive if youre just going to lay around all day not feeling well enough to do anything. Its against my policy to give my dog something that makes her feel worse. So there you go Dr. Dan. Im going against YOUR POLICY, and giving my money to someone else. Have a great life. Also want to say that weeks after picking up my records, this office went in and added things to my chart, saying I declined x-rays, blood work, et cetera, and argued with them about the treatment they wanted to give my dog, so they gave her what I wanted, when in reality they did what they wanted and what I didnt want.

I went into this office requesting a skin test for my pet explaining that I just needed to prove that my dogs skin condition had come back in order for my regular vet to prescribe to needed medication. The extremely rude person at the front (whom I believe is the office manager and should be fired!!!!) Told me that the doctor would have to do an exam. I explained that I had been paying nearly 400 every two weeks in vet cost and could not afford any more cost. The skin test would have been 25 and then I could have the test faxed and go the 45 minutes to my old vet office to get the medicine that could have saved my dogs life. They flat out refused and wanted me to spend almost 300 for them to see my dog and go over treatment! I just wanted a skin test and I didnt want to make my dog take the drive since he was so sick and got so car sick. Money was more important to this office. When they refused, I had to take him to my regular vet where that skin test turned out positive and it was so bad that he had to be put down. He was just a baby! I hold this office partly responsible for the death of my puppy and will never walk in this office again because of it.

Dr Dan was more interested in talking rather than examing our pets. My cat was "diagnosed" w/out even examining him and then not given the correct medication. We were told out dog would have urinary tract infections the rest of her life. After going to another vet who really examined her, she hasnt been sick since. Our neighbor took their dog to Dr Dan and were told that she either had scar tissue or cancer. He did NOTHING. They went to another vet and discovered she had an abcess which was then treated. She could have died if they hadnt taken her elsewhere. And the receptionist was consistently rude. And the charges were high.

I have been here several times with my rescue pets and i have found the front office staff to be less than nice down right RUDE! They are rude hateful and not helpful at all!! Im sure the Vets are great but the front office is ruining it from them.... I am fairly new to the area and was considering using them for my 4 personal dogs and 1 cat, but I will not because refuse to deal with such rude people. You need to realize that you run off the rescue but you will also lose the personal pets of the rescue and fosters Linda

I absolutely love Dr. Dan and his staff! I have 5 dogs and 5 cats and trust them with all of my animals. They dont run extra tests just to jack up the bill and are honest about what tests they think are necessary. I have whippets and appreciate their knowledge of the breed and risks associated with putting them totally under. If you live in the area, you should definitely give them a try.

The Office Manager was Very Unprofessional and Condescending. She told me if I didnt like the way the did things I could leave, so I did! I did ask who the office manager was, she said me so...Not the kind of first impression you want to receive! Not to mention there could be some liability issues if something were to happen to dog I brought in.

My dog was passing bloody stool. I called them and they were able to see my dog that day. Everybody was wonderful and polite and they were a big help. I will definitely be bringing my other 2 dogs to them.
