I am delighted to find his website. We owe the life or our son to Dr. Shore. In 2005 we took our son to Kennesaw Hospital with 103 fever. He was seen by 7 doctors that diagnose him with shingles. I had shingles myself, as a mother I knew it was more than that. No antibiotic worked to bring his fever down. I started to yell requesting a CDC doctor as I prayed at the same time. My motherly instincts where right. Dr. Shore (CDC) arrived, he diagnosed him immediately with MRSA. He spend 7 days in the hospital. He saved our sons life and not a day goes by that we dont send blessings his way. We later found out it was a break out of shingles and MRSA in his school and we didnt know. To this day, I yet to meet another caring and professional doctor like him. I so wish they were more like him. Im sure they are, we just havent come across with any other like him. Today my son has a future because of his care and the education he gave him and us as a family on how to prevent future outbreaks. Once you have MRSA, is in your system. If you are uninformed about what MRSA is, please get educated is usually misdiagnose. It is deadly. Please do yourself a favor and your child, make him your Pediatric doctor for life. Thank you dont come close, but God bless does!

We have not yet met a more caring/concerned Dr. here in Atlanta, GA. He is involved with children and he is the only Dr. that has what we call continuity and communication and is fighting a long and lonely battle for these two things. He is involved in the care of my 4 month old grandson and I can tell you from very personal experience that this man should be talking to all young Pediatricans and Infectious Disease Doctors. The only problem is you can not teach CARING. Thank you Sandy Klarer

This doctor is amazing; he literally has saved my sons life in handling kawasaki disease, scarletina and a life threatening event all within my sons first year of life! 12 years and another child, thank you Dr. Shore!!
