This is a bit lengthy... Both of my kids have been seen here since my daughter was born in 2009 and they were on Boulevard in a small home-style office (which was pretty awesome since it shared a parking lot with CVS, Prescriptions were just a walk away). But this place has truly grown and expanded--which seemed like a bad thing at first. Initially, it felt like you were going to visit a family friend (but the receptionist was a bit rude), and then they were seeing so many people that it pretty much felt like you were just another number--not to mention a poor ear piercing job followed by a flushot incident related to our insurance carrier that pushed us away, and we switched practices. It just didnt feel the same and we were unhappy... Fast forward 2016... somehow, roughly 4 yrs later when our son was born, I couldnt think of anyone else I trusted with my newborn other than Chris, (Dr.Sells...not so much, I actually removed a star because of her, although this is her practice, she is ...hm No Bueno!) and thats when I met Allie &everyone else (hopefully im not screwing up names, so ill just leave them out). now that they have more staff, its actually an even better feel. Once you meet with the different practitioners, you fall in love and like each one better than the one before. And of course the front office staff is super sweet, and all of the medical assistants are great with kids! They have the waiting area layout divided for teens, well children and sick visits. Its really clean in there and everyone is so amazing! The location looks crowded and can get busy, but weve never had an issue with parking! Oh yea did I mention, appointment scheduling is a breeze, wait time has never been more than 10-15 minutes(i mean most of the time theyre calling me before I can get checked in, but im definitely not complaining) and check-in can be done online as well! ((&&word to the wise, when you schedule your appointment, they tell you who its going to be with, so if they say Dr.Sells, just say "oh wait, that time doesnt work for me" Shes definitely one to AVOID! I thought 8yrs later practice wouldve helped, but no, after a issue with my sons eczema, she gave me some crappy advice and I knew to stick with the other NPs))

DO NOT - for the safety and health of your child - DO NOT join this practice. If YOU were a pediatrician who made a mistake - not following best practice by DIGGING into a toddlers ear with a curette until you ruptured his eardrum, while he screamed, cried, and tried to get away until blood came from his ear, would you STOP doing what you were doing or would you wipe the blood away and go back into his ear, digging even harder? If youre Dr. Denetta Sells at Intown Pediatrics in Gwinnett, you make no apologies. You go back digging into his bloody ear. You try to cover your tracks by changing information you added to the childs chart from that day. You still make no apologies. You fail to return frantic phone calls from the toddlers parents from the E.R. that night. No apologies. Finally, when you are notified of a complaint made about you to the Georgia Medical Composite Board, you still make NO apologies. Instead, you have your office send the family this ridiculous, cowardly, and insulting letter. "In light your (sic) recent complaint made to the Georgia Medical Composite Board, we feel we must end our doctor-patient relationship. We will forward your medical records to your new pediatrician upon receiving a signed, written request from you. Please allow two weeks for duplication and mailing. Please contact us if you have any questions about your childs health records." Maybe you didnt hear it, but the childs father made it crystal clear that day as he carried his injured child out the front door that he would NEVER EVER be back to your office again and that we would be sure to let everyone know about our experiences. How arrogant you are. We have moved on to another pediatrician already. As for you, its clear that you have learned NOTHING from your mistakes and that you do NOT care about children (only about yourself). I will continue to share my experiences with everyone and every mother-baby group of which I am a member. And I know that they will do the same.

I have been very pleased with this practice until recently. I took my child in for her yearly checkup and a new young lady whom Ive never seen before (probably a medical assistant or nurse) made a comment that my daughter was huge! (My daughter 2 years old, tall and thin! So go figure the huge comment?) I felt that was VERY unprofessional and rude. Comments of uneducated opinion should not be made unless there is an issue that either currently or will eventually affect a childs health. There are also psychological implications that could stem from situations such as this. Children already have difficulty sometimes wanting to see the doctor and adding offensive comments to the mixture is not healthy. I dont know how you can train staff to have common sense and be sensitive when referencing healthy and smart children as these are the qualities that truly matter. The providers there are excellent but when interacting with more than the providers situations such as this should be considered. Unfortunately I must find another provider before my child associates going to her pediatrician as a degrading experience and her self-confidence is affected.

I have been at this practice for 5 years; my children have seen Dr. Sells and the staff there since they came home from the hospital as preemies. Dr. Sells is one of the nicest, caring and truly dedicated physicians specializing in pediatrics. She always takes the time to talk with me, engage my children, and understand any concerns I may have. I never feel rushed or like my children are numbers to her or her practice. I also have such gratitude for all the nurses and NP Ally and Chris--two amazing ladies who are always so patient with my children. I have a son on the spectrum and he is not easily adaptable to seeing the doctor, and yet they are always so loving and patient. Dr. Sells also was one of the only pediatricians in Atlanta who allowed me to modify the vaccine schedule for my two children. Even though we have moved quite far from the practice, the commute is nothing compared to the level of care and dedication to the patients.

Ive always had a great experience at Intown. Ive been bringing both my kids (now 5 and 2) here since birth. I have what many think are extremely high standards :-) and the Intown team regularly exceeds them. I frequently recommend this practice to my friends and colleagues based on my experience. My kids usually see Dr. Bataille, Dr. Sells, or Allie, but Ive had good experiences with all of the providers. Drs. Sells and Bataille (who I have the most experience with) are always patient, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and reassuring. I love the fairly recent improvement of receiving the CHADIS questionnaire in advance as it gives me the opportunity to test my children (and invite feedback from their other caregivers) before the appointment and accurately answer the questions. Julia has always been so helpful, efficient, and nice with any records needs Ive had. Love this practice!

DR PRICE! She is the nicest pediatrician I have ever met. I brought my baby in for her new born appointment and the staff was amazing. Dr Price was sensitive, caring, and open to hear me. This being my 4th child, this is the 1st time that I felt completely respected as the parent. She gave me info on my babies hernia, and was open minded when I told her I did not give my baby the hep B vaccine at birth and never once made me feel degraded or stupid(this has happened to me at other practices). They took their time with me and my baby and made me feel that they truly cared for my baby and we werent just a number. AND their new Brookhaven office is super nice! I already liked this practice a lot but now Im here for life!
