My opinion of this visit is that Dr. Abby is very good with kids and does give them effective medications but there are a few things that could be improved. My younger sister had an appointment at 1:40 pm and we left the office at 4:50 pm. I understand that this location is never empty and children are all through the halls but it does not excuse the some of the receptionist for having an unprofessional attitude towards patients and their guardians. Yes, the doctors office is very colorful, has a few toys, and does play movies for the children to get distracted. Although there is all those benefits. The wait time is too long and it doesnt seem like it just happened to me. The majority of the parents there had already been waiting for around 1-2 hrs before they were called to see the doctor. Some were even forced to reschedule after waiting for so long because their child was not seen. Also appointments are not respected from what i see some patients that arrived after those that were already waiting were seen before. I believe that if possible look at other locations or you and your child that either has a fever, is coughing their lungs out or is filling the room with their tears, will be Im the waiting room for hours before you are seen by the doctor.

The place is decent, the doctors are decent and the staff are pretty warm and polite however to regularly have to wait time 2 hours before being seen for a basic (regular scheduled) appointment is outrageous. I waited 2 hours on multiple occasions for one of my children and ended up leaving without being seen due to the time not being managed properly. What a waste of my time. They dont even give courtesy check ins to let you know how much longer it would be, or an apology for the extremely long waiting time. All of my appointments were scheduled in advance by them so there is no way we shouldve had to wait 2 hours before even being called to the back and then once called to the back if patient enough to with stand the wait time there is about another 30 minute wait before the doctor comes in to see the child or children. I discussed my concerns with the doctor who told me they were busy with new enrollments but if you cant manage what you already have why continue to accept new patients and leave the previous/continual patients hanging. Busy wasnt a good enough answer as this happened on several different occasions. You truly feel like youre at one of those places were youre just another number in stead of a paying customer.

This is the second times having issues. I get here 8 minutes after my appointment and they see four people in front of me. I use to come to this pedetrician office when Dr. Mclendon was here...totally different. I even waited four hours with an appointment one time. The doctors are ok, but the office staff not sure if anyone graduated from high school. They seem so unsure and disorganized. One person say something but its not in the system or everyone has the DUMB look to whats going on.I going to find another doctors office who front office cares just as much as the doctors. I think because of the color of my children skins they are descrimanated again and this is the south. Nothing has changed!!!! Racialization is still strong even with an appointment. I hope they continue to treat others children better than they have for my sick children.

My girlfriend and I attended an appointment for our son’s annual check up. Reading other reviews I was surprised to see negative comments, we were very satisfied with our whole experience. The waiting rooms atmosphere is very inviting to the children with a colorful open space so children can socialize and as busy as that Saturday was, we did not wait very long to see the doctor. My girlfriend and I anticipated our child to cry when he was serviced his shots, and even though he shed some tears he took it like a man only to demand for his stickers. Dr. Scott and her associate Alex Grimes showed A+ professionalism. We really appreciated such good service. God bless and thank you very much Daffodil Pediatrics.

Dr. Abby is a wonderful pediatrician. My 2 year old daughter took to her quicker than any other doctor or stranger. She knows how to keep my daughter smiling and keep things comfortable. The waiting time could be improved. They ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes early for your appointment but have you waiting 30 minutes before you are actually seen by the nurse. My daughters last appointment was the very first time set after their lunch break was over. I was there on time and still had to wait 30-45 minutes. Overall the service is good. I will continue to use this office and would recommend it to any friends and/or family.

We were not new patients yet they had none of our information & didnt even have us on the schedule when I made the appointment 2 weeks prior. After 2 hours in the waiting room with missing floor tiles & repeatedly being called to the front to be asked the same questions, we just left. I requested my records be faxed to our new pediatrician and now 3 months later they have yet to be sent over and no one answers the phone. I even had the new doctors office call and see whats going on and they gave them the same run around. Dont get trapped dealing with this place!!! If I could give a zero I would!

In response to Ms.Walker, with all do respect maam I dont think our great American system would allow someone who doesnt have a high school diploma or equivalent to work in the medical field. The staff there are very well educated, and addition they are bilingual/trilingual. Personally I dont think you shouldve brought the race card card into you review how can we leave racism in the past if people like you keep bringing it back. How can they be racist if the staff there are diverse? Also your grammar is incorrect, so maybe youre the one who doesnt have a high school diploma or equivalent.

My younger brother got sick and I had to take him since this was the only place my friend. He was sick but when I try to make an appointment, but we had to wait for two weeks for an appointment. My brother could not wait that long, so I ended up going to other places where the schedule was that week or they accepted walk in. I thought this was ridiculous because if your sick at the moment, the office should take you in rather then making an appointment that you have to wait for two weeks for. I mean how in the world if we know whos gonna get sick two weeks later.
