Dr. Partin has given my Corgi/Shepherd new life 100% holistically. Dr. Partin, adjusted her spine so gently and will continue to keep her energetically balanced with Chinese herbs, quality supplements and a balanced whole foods diet and snacks. Annabelle is 9.5 and diagnosed over a year ago with spondylosis and severe hip dysplasia, she had thrown a disc in her back and her rear leg function was wobbly at best. She also had severe reoccurring infections around her vulva and she was regularly chewing open her hip from constant nerve pulses and pain. After rounds of antibiotics that caused antibiotic resistance and a dog that was beyond miserable and darting around trying to escape the painful nerve pulses she was battling, I found Dr. Partin online and AM SO GLAD I DID!! Shes wonderfully in tune with Annabelle, who normally hates the vets, but not Dr. Partin! She actually drags me into the office. At home I ask Annabelle if she wants to see Dr. Partin and she runs to the door : ) Dr. Partin has all the best traditional AND alternative medical education, but more than that she has a natural gift with animals that I dont think even the best Vet schools can teach. Annabelles degenerative spine and hips are not the death sentence every other Vet pushed on her. My girl wants to play again and no longer has chronic overactive nerve itchiness. Shes got puppy energy again and this after just one visit with Dr. Partin. She is kind, agreeable, enjoyable to be around and you know she is on your team from day one. She truly wants to help and she does!! I dont know how she stays so calm and steady, because I came to her completely frazzled! If you are lost dealing with difficult health issues with your pet there is only one place in GA to go, Hickory Flat Animal Hospital - Dr. Partin!!! PS. The office staff has always been delightful and super accommodating as well! Annabelle doesnt play well with other animals so they literally clear the way for Annabelle to get into the first exam room in peace. I cant explain how much stress this relieves in our visits. The picture below is one happy Annabelle right after her adjustment with Dr. Partin. That smile says it all!

We have been trying to find help for our foster, who is always tense, rarely sleeps, is allergic to many foods, and not very affectionate. I had taken him to two specialists and three different vets before I had him see Dr. Partin. Dr. Partin suggested having him tested for Bartonella even though he didnt have the red line on his gums that is a hallmark for this. The test came back a strong positive for the infection, and within one day of the first treatment, he became like a different cat. He sleeps now as all cats do and should be able to do, lounges comfortably when not sleeping, and has become the most affectionate cat. Hes like a totally new cat, and it is with such relief and gratitude that I watch him sleep, relax, and stretch - just as any "normal" cat we know lives his life. I would never have known about or had him tested for this infection, but Dr. Partin advised it, since she has seen it in other cats previously forced to live outside. I now have hope for him as someone who can enjoy rather than endure his life, and I have hope that we will be able to find him a home, since he now appears both well and has become super affectionate. I have lived in Ga for almost 3 years now. I am a former Rescuer and have 8 dogs, a cat and two horses. A friend told me about Hickory Flat A.H after having a very bad experience at another Vet. I have brought several of my animals to them now , having seen all 3 Vets in the practice. I LOVE all of them ! They are all wonderful , compassionate , honest people that genuinely care ! The entire staff makes you feel comfortable as soon as you enter the building. They are also very reasonable with their pricing. I am more then satisfied with this practice !

My cat loves Dr. Scott! Well, love is a strong word... lets just say she is extremely tolerant of him. Dr. Scott and the staff are so good and gentle with her and make her feel at ease. I took her there once for a non-emergency issue and they fixed her right up. Dr. Scott even called personally after a few days to check up on our kitty. We just got back from her annual and I cant believe how well-behaved she was... something about the staff and the office puts my cat at ease. Positive experience all-around!

Nice, clean place, with friendly and helpful staff. Dr. Partin was such a blessing to us for our dog. She gave us options, counsel, and was a comfort to us about how to treat our furbaby. When the time came that we had to let him go, she and the staff helped us through that difficult process and the time period. I cannot thank her enough for her sage advice, her wise words, her comfort and caring, and for stellar care for our pet for as long as we could feasibly keep him around.

We recently changed vets because a very sick cat of ours couldnt be seen in a timely manner, but these wonderful vets immediately saw our Buddy, diagnosed and referred him to an emergency clinic in Alpharetta. Unfortunately Buddy only lasted a few days with kidney failure but you all followed up with kind condolences. Humanity we were unused to and grateful for. His brother Bo is a patient now and our new rescue cat Teddy will be visiting this week. Great Vets. Great People!

I have been using Hickory Flat Animal Hospital since we first got our two cats from a local shelter. Everyone on staff has always been kind, caring, and helpful. Recently, one of our cats, now close to 19 years old, fell ill. The doctor patiently talked me through all possible treatments for my cat, and when the cat did not respond, the kind folks at Hickory Flat got me through a difficult euthanasia process. I cannot say enough good things about this animal hospital.

Absolutely the best place ever!!! (And my dogs think so too) The office is clean, well-organized and staffed by friendly, competent technicians and doctors. My dog Athena loves them. She was better the next day. We will be back for all of are vet needs.
