Ok, look, lets break this down into really simple parts. When youre looking for a vet youve got a few choices: - the commercialized, mass production, impersonal route (i.e. vets in pet stores) - the "old Kodger" route (i.e. vets that have been doing it too long, no longer care, but because of the money dont have the integrity or sense to get out of the business). or, you can search long and hard and find yourself a vet that genuinely cares about the animals she treats and cares for them like they were her own. Guess one Doc. Paula is? Now let me be clear about something, Id never set foot inside their door before this morning, and Im a picky rascal. But, inside 5 minutes I knew that this was the vet that was going to be taking care of my new 13 week old Siberian for the rest of his life, and Im still not sure how she pulled this off, but I felt like Id known this lady my entire life, and we were friends. If youre looking for a vet that is kind, caring, compassionate, and really, truely loves what shes doing, then you MUST take your pet to see Dr. Paula. She will treat you AND your pet fabulously, and I promise you, you wont be disappointed. BTW, this practice used to be owned by some other folks that specialized in exotics. That was before Doc Paula bought the practice, so if you have been there before and it didnt go well, go back and see Doc Paula. I promise you, once you do you will never want to go anywhere else again. Doc, keep up the great work! 8-)

My first experience a couple years ago when I had to put my baby Max to sleep. I had had that wonderful dog and my best friend for 21 years. I was very emotional and they let me stay with him for as long as I needed to. The second one I had a very sick cat, and they took the time to find out what was wrong, and treated him very well. The third time I had another very sick cat that I recently lost and they treated her very well. Now with a cat who has eye problems and is looking very good, and I can see his eyes. I want to thank everyone at Bankhead Animal Hospital for taking care of my babies.

I love this place! I brought my 5 month old kitten in today for some intestinal issues ahe has had since I got him two weeks ago. Dr. Fredricks took her time and ran two tests and got to the bottom of it. She was very thorough and considerate with explaining to me what was going on and even gave me aftercare instructions. A overall very good impression about this place! Thankful I gave it a chance!!

Worst vet I have ever been to. Very dirty, poop on the floor, the smell was ridiculous and they are very unprofessional. I will never take my dog back to this place. Blonde headed lady should go back to school for what she does and try to get some more education on her business she is trying to run

Dirty office, okay service, the fact that its not a commericalized vet is nice, they have two pretty cats that walk around the office that are really kind but not a nice environment if you are allergic to cats.

Dr Fredericks and her staff are very courteous and caring about their patients.They are vey knowledgable. I feel comfortable and confident in leaving my babies there.
