Our experience began at the parking garage, which was poorly lit & dirty. The stairwells smelled of urine and there were no signs to tell us how how to get into the building. (you would think getting into a building attached to a parking garage would be pretty simple, but this Medical Office seems designed to make getting into the building next to impossible) When we finally realized we needed to get to the 2rd floor, which is really the 3rd floor, we found a small glass board with all the doctors offices listed by floor, not alphabetically, so we had to weed through 5 floors of names to find where the Thomas Eye Group was located. Got off the rickety elevators and ran right into construction work on the floor, with no attempt to cordon off the area to protect clients from the work being done. We entered the Thomas Eye Group and found the waiting room clean but really dark. A young woman behind a glass window, without any attempt at a polite greeting, told us to sign in at a digital terminal that was to scan our license and medical card. We waited 30 minutes past our appointment time and decided we had lost confidence before even seeing the doctors. We asked them to cancel our appointments and left. I wish we had the experience everyone else seems to have had. Sadly, ours was severely lacking.

My grandmother had an appointment schedule for surgery at 7:30 am Thomas Eye Group of Hillandale they call a day before the Surgery to reschedule for 9:30 am. However the next day of the eye surgery she wasnt seen until 11:30 to be prep. The actual surgery didnt start until 3:30. My grandmother also told doing the surgery she had to hear (Prince " Purple Rain") the whole time which had to be obnoxious. The next day after the surgery she was schedule to return to Thomas Eye Group of Hillandale to have a follow up she didnt go due the long wait the day before. "DEE" done a follow up call in regards of the follow up lets just say SHE HAS THE MOST UPBEAT ATTITUDE . WAIT FOR IT ..... THUNDER JUST DROP FOR THE LIE I JUST TOLD ABOUT UPBEAT. LETS KEEP IT Professional Something she didnt do. "Dee your job is what you make it. If you dont like it find something you love cause calling and scheduling isnt your forte. One star dont deserve.

I accompanied my husband to an appointment today and we were there for 4 hours. Our appointment was for 8:30 and we were not seen until 9:15. My husband informed me that he never waited that long before. Nonetheless, we had a consultation with “Dee” and 15 minutes into the consultation, we were encroached upon when “Dee” office mate took a consultation in the office. With that being said, 5 people were in a room which consisted of me, my husband, Dee, Dee officemate and another patient. WHAT IS GOING ON? Why weren’t we put in an office with Dee alone so she can go over the procedures with us without a bloody audience? I don’t want other patient in our business and I don’t want to be in other patient business. That really ticked me off. And I found it in extreme poor taste that we were put in that position. I requested to speak to the office manager, Tanya, however, that never happened.

Worse experience ever..Dr. Stephens misdiagnosed and prescribed my husband the wrong medication..when he went for a follow up appt..The doctor was not even aware of the medication he prescribed and stated that the treatment plan which was a plan from him was basically the wrong plan..He was not even aware of the medication he prescribed..The pharmacy had to call the office just to let him know that he sent the rx..Basically my husband eye was worse than before he went in. My husband went to Emory Ophamologist right after his appt, and it was true misdiagnosed from Thomas Eye group Dr. stephens..So save some time and money by not even going....

They were great! We were seen promptly (always a plus) and they were patient and understanding when our daughter started crying about getting drops put in her eyes. Dr. Phoenix was very nice and professional and the assistant was friendly and knowledgeable (she knew how to get those drops in our daughters eyes!). Thanks to the entire team at Thomas Eye Group - from start to finish, it was a pleasant experience. I highly recommend this office!

Doctor Stephens at Thomas Eye Group is an incredible eye doctor and helped change my life by referring me to get Lasik. He takes the time to fully explain everything and his support staff, knowing what he requires, have already completed all the necessary tests.
