If could give The Center For Sight 0/5 stars, I most certainly would. After seeing Dr. Blanks in October of 2013, the prescription he issued me for my glasses was laughable. The prescription strength for my left lens was obviously not strong enough and when alternating the holding of one hand over each eye, I could not read writing from 10 ft away with my left eye when the right was clear. After calling the office and explaining the situation, they told me that they could correct the issue. After going in for the second appointment, they charged me for the replacement lens as well as a new set of glasses (since it was now 2014 I figured I might as well get a second pair with an updated prescription) but Dr. Blanks still got the prescription wrong. I had to go to my insurance company to get a resolution. They informed me that The Center For Sight should not have charged me for the second visit and should have changed the lens for free since it was less than 6 months from the first appointment. After a week of my insurance company working on them, they agreed to refund my glasses if I returned them but would not reinstate my insurance nor the lab fee. My insurance company said they would take the loss and reinstate it for me because The Center For Sight was in the wrong. I was thankful for the insurance companys help and am very disappointed with The Center For Sight as their services are sub-par and they refuse to admit when theyre wrong. DO NOT GO HERE.

Will not be back. It took multiple requests for reports handed to them at the time of the appointment to get assistance from Michigan Commission for the Blind. Asked them to fill out form for Sec. of State and they want me to pay for another full eye exam because it has been over a year. Retinitis Pigmentosa is a degenerative disease, no treatment or cure. I cannot drive, not sure why enduring another exam and paying about $200 is necessary. Another prime example of their priorities and emphasis on patient care.

I cannot say enough about the great service we have had at the Center for Sight. The best and most thorough I have ever experienced was done by Dr. Chames, and several years later by one of his associates. Now my "senior" dad is also receiving the same excellent service and will soon have cataract surgery. I wouldnt trust his surgery to anyone else other than Dr, Chames.

I have been a paitent of Dr. Patrias for several years. He and all of the staff are caring and very professional. He has given sample contact lenses to try until I am happy since I am now beginning to have different issues with reading smaller print. Has always been a pleasant experience here.
