Ok, this is a long review, so here’s the quick summary: They made me wait 50 minutes after my scheduled appointment to see me. Employees fight at the front desk in front of others. The doctor didn’t care about an issue I informed her of. They don’t respect patient confidentiality. They charged me for an exam I didn’t request, and tried to bully me into paying for it (out of pocket). They didn’t even try to make sure my glasses fit when I got my prescription back. OK. Here’s the full review: Just because they only keep up the 5-star reviews doesn’t mean every patient has a 5-star experience. I NEVER write reviews but this place needs some truth to balance out all the only-positive reviews (they only ask for a review if you had a good experience.) I was surprised this place has only 5-star reviews because of my terrible experience. When I arrived on time to my appointment, I had to wait 50 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. I had scheduled my appointment over the phone, but the explanation I got was that someone else scheduled an appointment online for the same time…so they bumped me. Not a good explanation. I am a mom and have limited time when my child is in preschool. I seriously considered leaving as I’d been waiting for such a long time, I wasn’t sure I wanted to start an appointment I couldn’t finish. Despite my best judgement, I sat and waited anyway, all the while listening to the front desk person arguing with someone else in the office about billing issues and confusion about who does what job. It was not a positive situation and made me a little nervous that I was putting myself in the hands of these people that didn’t quite seem like they knew what they were doing and that they couldn’t seem to get along with each other. It was an obvious human resources issue that shouldn’t have been on display in front of patients. 50 agonizing minutes after my appointment was scheduled, I was finally taken back by the doctor. She seemed to know her stuff, but really didn’t listen to me or my concerns. I told her I had a painful infection recently in one of my ducts and another current one that looked like a blister to me. When I said that, she immediately turned around and spoke into her microphone that records information into the computer: “Patient is concerned that she has an infection in one of her eyes,” she said….but she never even turned back around to look at what I was talking about nor did she address the issue with ME. I felt ignored. Also, she never shut the door to the exam room with me or the person ahead of me, so everyone in the lobby can hear everything you’re talking about---HIPAA issues, anyone? I heard everything the lady before me was discussing with the doctor. Not that I am embarrassed about it, but I have PCOS and now everyone in that office and waiting area knows too. I have worked in healthcare before and know that it is poor practice, not to mention against the law not to keep health information confidential. When I made the appointment over the phone, they asked if I wanted a contact lens AND glasses exam because a contact lens exam would incur additional cost. I said I just wanted the glasses exam because I didn’t want to pay the extra fee. But I got a bill in the mail for a contact lens exam. Had I not fought the bill over the phone, they would have simply gotten their way. Bully tactics, for sure. Lastly, I had some eyeglass frames I had them fill a prescription for. Whenever I have got glasses filled at any other practice, after they arrive, they usually sit you down and make sure it all fits and looks right and make any adjustments necessary for the glasses to fit properly. Not with this place. When I walked in the guy at the front was on the phone and he stayed on the phone as he handed my glasses over and bid me a good day. He couldn’t care less if my glasses were working for me or not. I will not be going back to Reimbold Eye Group and I would bid you to consider this review before going there yourself.

10 Stars! I was on State Bridge headed towards LensCrafter at Avalon, saw Reimbold and decided to check it out. The friendly, professional and knowledgeable service received from the second we walked in the door was INCREDIBLE. I probably tried on every single pair of glasses they have... its my first time wearing glasses and Im very picky. Its hard to describe, but it felt as if I was being taken care of by a really good old friend. Now, I hate to say it but, I left to visit LensCrafters, walked in, was there for 5 minutes and headed right back to Reimbold. Even though Dr Reimbold recommended glasses based on the shape of my face, etc., I was fixated on a specific kind and shape of glasses they didnt have, well she ordered them IN THREE DIFFERENT COLORS and called me when they arrived a couple of days later. Fast forward to a few more visits (Im very picky and difficult), I ended up getting the ones she recommended from day one because, without a doubt, they were the best fit for me. This review is getting a bit long and I can ramble on forever about how much I love this place and the people there. Every business, in every industry should be run with this level of SUPURB Customer Attention & Service. I will make sure that every one of my friends and family members goes to Reimbold Eye Group. Oh... One more thing! I live 21 miles away, I was more than happy to make the drive… several times :) THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE AT REIMBOLD EYE GROUP! I LOVE MY GLASSES!!!

While under the care of my primary care physician for an eye infection the pain and light sensitivity in my eye increased to the point that it could no longer open or close without intense pain and tearing. I had never experienced this kind of discomfort before from an eye infection. Dr. Reimbold thoroughly examined my eyes and decided to placed a cornea bandage over my left eye which eased the pain and promoted healing. I have never had a contact in my eye and she placed it without any complication. I went from not being to read the largest letter on the eye chart to 20/15 vision in a matter of days thanks to the treatment and care provided by Dr. Reimbold. I would not trust my sight to anyone else and highly recommend her to anyone interested in high quality professional care. She goes above and beyond to ensure you receive the very best care. She called me the following day to check on my progress and to ensure I was doing all right. What a great experience. I wish there were more stars to give.

It was emergency. I was in pain, I could not read, I could not drive, I could not work because of my irritated eye. It was very painful and annoying. I tried to scheduale visit with my eye doctor but unfortunately he was able to see me in 2 days despite on my condition. Well, it was hell Mary call to this clinic. I was told to come as soon as possible. Driving with one eye closed I got to the clinic and doctor just did miracle. Instead of torturing me with paper work she took me to exam room and spend at least 30 minutes to figure out what is wrong with me. She asked me about allergies, family history, etc after she examined my eye and put drops in. She asked me to let her know how I feel. She gave me her cell in case if I need to see her on Sunday. Well, luckily drops worked and I am feeling so much better. I thought that doctors are the same but it seems like some of them are ready to do anything for the patients. I am very pleased and plan to stay with this practice.
