First off I would like to inform anybody reading this review that I rarely (if ever) take the time to write one. However, my experience at Gwinnett Eye Clinic and specifically with Dr. Clements was beyond exceptional. All of the staff was extremely friendly, and Dr. Clements was not just professional but actually made the "routine exam" enjoyable. I have been to many different Optometrist over the years: LensCrafters, WalMart Vision Center, and a few different private practices and assumed they were all the same. Dr. Clements not only had a great personality but when it came to the specifics of my vision and the contacts I had been using he thoroughly explained the advantages (for me) to switch to daily contacts. In my past experiences I never made the switch because I always felt as if I was being "sold" and never saw the benefit. He really took the extra time to help me understand the advantages and disadvantages of certain contacts and how they would work with my eyes in particular. He gave me a few different samples to try and actually followed up with me to see which sets were working best. In conclusion, my eyesight has never been this clear, my eyes have never felt this comfortable, and through his relationships with my Insurance company, Dr. Clements was able to get me the best contacts I have ever used and the cost was MUCH less than I had anticipated. Bottom line: if you were like me and just went to "get an eye exam" every year... Setup your next appointment with Dr. Clements and I PROMISE you will be delighted you tried something different. From top to bottom every person in their clinic went above and beyond, and if I could give ten out of five stars I would. - I hope this helps, and anybody else whom meets with Dr. Clements. Write a review. I would like to know if your experience was as fantastic as mine!

Dr. Johnson is great. Very personable. I appreciated his explanation of my perscribed eye care. My criticism of the whole experience is this: So disorganized! During my visit I was told that there would be a new offer including a mail in rebate for contact lense purchase. They said they would call me the next day with details. I was assured that I would be able to take advantage of the offer. No call the next day. I assumed I would get a call when my contact lense order arrived and intended to deal with the promised offer at that time. Two weeks later I call them to ask about the delay... they put me on hold and then tell me that my contacts are there and all ready to pick up. I wondered how long they had been there? I still wonder if I would have recieved a call at all? Had I not called them, how long before they would have let me know that the lenses I had already paid for and really needed were there? What makes it worse is that while I was waiting for my contacts they had given me a trial lense for one of eyes that was not my true perscription. I knew this when I got the lense, I accepted it because it was the closest thing they had on hand to my true perscription, and I was completely out of lenses so I did appreciate it. At the time they did acknowledge that they understand how uncomfortable that can be so I assumed they would not delay in letting me know when my lenses arrived. I wont be returning.

I had been going to random imperonal Lenscrafters and other chains for the last 5 years before I decided to give Gwinnett Eye Clinic a try. Im very glad I made the switch and will definitely continue visiting in the future. Staff was very friendly unlike some of the chains. Dr. Clements was very professional. He spent extra time helping me understand that I have been continually being over prescribed for my contacts. It was hard to believe that the strength of my lenses should be dialed back but I gave it a shot and my eyes have never felt better! A+ organization.

I just moved to the area so I dropped in this clinic to check out because I need the annual eye exam done. 1. NO ONE bother to say Hi or at least say please wait. Or at least say anything so I know what the heck I am suppose to do at that moment. 2. I meant to stand at the front quietly and patiently waited for almost 3 mins to see if any notice me. And surely NO ONE say Hi. And one of the staff literally sitting right at the front entrance table and not bother to greet a single word. How rude!!! So I just left.

Dr. Johnson is very personable and professional. He takes his time during exams and gives you time to ask questions and answer any concerns about your eye care needs. He has a very friendly contact lens technician, (Trenna) who gets your order as quickly as possible! The atmosphere is very welcoming and inviting, and the office is very clean and updated! There is a large inventory of frames to choose from, overall, a great experience!

Doctor himself was good. But after my exam i waited for about 45 minutes so that I can order my lenses. With no one helping me and i had to go back to work, i left without ordering. Next day same situation. Spent 1 hour just to order lens, that would take 2 minutes. Surprisingly, there was only one other customer in the clinic at the time. And waited another 15 minutes to make payment as there was no body at counter.

Dr. Johnson seems to really care about you when you step in the office. He takes the time to answer your questions and makes sure you fully understand what is going on with your eyes. His staff is super friendly. I would recommend him to anyone in the area that is looking for a new eye doctor.

Wonderful experience. The staff at Gwinnet Eye Clinic is very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They took great care of me from start to finish. I saw Dr. Clements (who is excellent) on a Wednesday and had my custom glasses in hand the following Monday. Couldnt be happier.

I came in and only had to wait about 10 minutes before having my eyes examed. I was able to walk out with a pair of glasses that same day. Since I have insurance, it only cost me $56 that day. Better than I expected. Great people.
