I saw Dr. OHeron for the first two months of my prenatal care. She herself was nice and seemed knowledgable, but everything else was a complete mess. I only had three appointments here and several mistakes were made. It seems as if no one talks to each other in the office, resulting in missing files and a lot of mix ups. My last appointment I had there was for a blood test and I checked in and had the blood drawn and went on my way. A couple hours later I get a call back from the office questioning me about the test and telling me I had to come in for an initial prenatal appointment where they would need to confirm my pregnancy before they could run the test. However, I had already had this appointment a month and a half ago. Turns out they had no idea who I was and hadnt bothered to even check my file and see that I was not, in fact, a new patient. They also tried to give me a duplicate prescription of an antibiotic Id already been prescribed. When I mentioned I was already prescribed that drug I was met with a pause and then a "oh yep! Youre right! Never mind!" How hard is it to just check the patient file?? I had an ultrasound done there as well and the ultrasound tech was EXTREMELY rude and flippant. She also informed us that she hadnt put her contacts in so we just needed to be patient with her. Seriously?? I brought this up to Dr. OHeron at my next appointment and she said it was just that techs personality. (Its also worth mentioning that my ultrasound results were lost so the follow up appointment was pretty useless). My biggest beef with this place was that they ran the Horizons Genetic Panel test on me without my knowledge. I had requested the Panorama blood test so I could learn the sex of the baby sooner and at the same time, without my knowledge or consent, they ran the genetics panel as well. Of course three weeks later I get a call from Dr. OHeron informing me Im a carrier for a terrible genetic disease and I need to get my husband tested immediately to see if he was a carrier as well. Confusion and stress arent even adequate words for how I felt. After that call, I never went back to that office and transferred clinics because I do not trust these people at all. My husband has since been tested and come back negative as a carrier, which of course is good news but I would have so much rather not even known my carrier status at all, especially because I did not ask for the test (not to mention the extra $300 bill). They were also incredibly difficult about transferring my medical records to my new clinic, delaying my care with a new doctor since it took them two days after my initial appointment to transfer my records. Im also still getting bills from Lifeboat, a full 5 months later, some of them not going through my insurance from third party doctors for services Im completely unfamiliar with. Bottom line, if you want a minimum stress, organized, and reasonably priced medical experience, go somewhere else. This place is pretty terrible and I wouldnt be surprised if it got shut down.

The right hand has NO CLUE what the left hand is doing there. I went in for a physical, they called me back to reschedule some blood work because, according to the nurse that called me, I wasnt supposed to have eaten prior to having the blood taken. She told me I would not be charged...HA! They wanted to charge me AGAIN! They then told me the nurse had no right telling me there wouldnt be a charge. To which I answered: "How am I supposed to know that!" During my last physical, my PA (who is as sweet as can be) gave me samples of the pill to try and told me to call her to let her know if its going ok and for her to call it into the pharmacy. WELL, when I called, they informed me that I was supposed to go in for a follow up, to which I said: "and why was I not informed of this at the time?" The girl put me on hold, came back and said: "we will call in your Rx to the pharmacy. Give us the number." Rude and NO EXPLANATION AT ALL. After spending over $350 there for my latest exam and blood work, I still have no results, except a bunch of incompetant people who have no clue what they tell me and seem to have no cohesion in their internal communications. What a horrible experience!!! Imagine how they treat your medical exams, results and lab work??? Ive never seen such a level of error and incoherence. Not worth my time or money. I really dont recommend them, especially if you are a young mom to be. I will have my next Dr have my files from there transferred out of there. If they dont do it, theyll be hearing from my lawyer.

Ive been seeing Dr. OHeron since I was a teenager. She is my primary care physician and my GYN, and when it comes to taking the patients feelings into account, she is unmatched. She is friendly and easy to talk to, and Ive always felt comfortable telling her intimate details or issues that Im having. She is progressive regarding birth control, and will work with you to find what works best for your body and your schedule. You wont be judged or berated for your choices or opinions, and she never allows her personal religious convictions influence her medical judgement. Wait times at their office can be a little bit long, and your appointment may not always be on time, but when the doctor is in the room with you, you will have her undivided attention. They are also open two Saturdays a month for people who work full time jobs and may not have the ability to take time off during the week, but its a good idea to call a couple weeks ahead for a physical or anything not urgent.

DR. OHeron is my childrens pediatrician and my ob/gyn. She is a phenomenal doctor with great expertise in her field. She first diagnosed my daughter with autism 5 years ago when other doctors passed me pamphlets on tantrums. My daughter since has been through several psychiatric and psychological doctors and Dr. OHeron has kept up with her case and even been my daughters advocate against the school board. She is wonderful with precisely diagnosing children, as well as preventive care for women and even got me through a cancer scare, running tests, folowing up, etc. Sometimes there is a wait at her office, but when you get such precise, personalized, accurate care for you children, she is worth the wait. I have never seen a doctor so caring and personal with regards to her patients. I would travel however far I needed to ensure she is my childrens doctor throughout their childhood. She is that good!

My wife was having a cold and cough all night!! So I called the Dr office first thing in the morning if she can come in. So the receptionist said, its all booked for the morning...but we can try to fit her in at 3:00pm. When 3:00pm arrived and past and still didnt see the dr until 4:00pm and wait for another 30 minutes before someone check on her. What kind of medical service is this? If you have all the time in the world to spend in the waiting room, good for you. This place fits for you. Its better off go straight to emergency room or urgent care than to this dr office. Why are they not having an open slot at all time just in case someone is really sick and need to be checked out right away? Its just bad management and bad service overall.
