I saw Dr. Dunson-Allen twice before I decided to switch to a midwife. Both times we were 15 minutes early for a morning appointment and both times waited over an hour to see her. Once we got into the room she was in and out with hardly any conversation. This was my first pregnancy and I had no idea what to expect, yet she never took the time to talk to me about the pregnancy or explain what she was doing. She and the nurse were pushing all kinds of unnecessary tests ( I was in my early 20s and completely healthy) and they also suggested terminating the pregnancy because my husband and I were not married at the time! I also have never had a PAP that was as painful as the one she did on me. Very rough, rushed and impersonal! A few years later my sister went to her for a PAP not knowing that she was the doctor I had left during my pregnancy. She also complained about how rough Dr. Dunson-Allen was during her exam.

I had a very important issue and have been in pain all weekend. I get to the office this morning to find out they will NOT see me until I pay over $100 out of pocket when I dont even have a co-host. Been to this office before and was never charged. They refused to see me even when I asked if they would hold my payment until this Friday. I have almost met my deductible and have a spending account. This seems very unethical and poor customer service. They are rude and not willing to work with me. I would have been fine if they told me up front instead of waiting to tell me the day I arrive. I will be making a formal complaint. I also have requested for the doctor to call me back. They even told me that the office manager is the owner....come on. I would not go here. Never have I been told that a payment arrangement could not be made. This is crazy.

Best office I have been to. Although Dr. Dunson-Allen is a very busy women she is great at what she does. The midwifes that are in the office are great as well. I would recommend this office to my friends and anyone else.
