I had the most dreadful experience ever at Manders Dental Clinic! I went in to have my dentures adjusted, I was sold a bill of goods that implants were the way to go and that I was a good candidate for them. That was over two years ago and they STILL dont even come close to fitting at all! The bottom keeps riding up making it impossible to chew, the top denture wobbles around in my mouth. Dr. Blackburn is the rudest, most condescending, vulgar, unprofessional, asinine, jackass Ive ever had the misfortune of meeting! I could say so much more but Ill stop. I did everything I was told to do, nothing works. I was told by "the surgeon " that to keep the top denture in I should "suck and swallow ". How vulgar is that? The assistant witnessed his behavior on many occasions. Now Im awaiting better fitting abutments, I dont want anything to do with Dr Blackburn and I hope I dont have to. Ive stated many times to the staff and office management how I feel about him and the things hes said to me and how disgusted I was with him. I suspect the lowest grade of materials were used and I was OVER CHARGED grossly. I was even charged for an abutment that wasnt useable. Everyone else in the office were polite, kind, and treated me professionally.

I went to Manders Dental Ctr under medicare coverage. Was suppose to have $0 copay for oral exam, cleaning, fluoride treatment and x-ray. They did the x-rays. Dr. Collins came in and said that I grind my teeth and that I needed a mouth guard. I have never grinded my teeth and didnt put much trust in what he said. Would be over $300 to make a mouth guard. Then the hygienist came in and said I needed a deep cleaning and that it would take 2 visits because I had some plaque build-up on my teeth. So my free cleaning and exam covered by medicare would cost me $215 today and another $29 when I came back in 10 days. This was my out of pocket cost plus whatever they would bill medicare. I wouldnt pay what they wanted and they would not give me a free cleaning per my contract provider (Piedmont Wellstar). I left and got an appointment with my previous dentist with no insurance coverage and ended up paying $198 for everything. They said that I had no problem with my teeth and the plaque buildup was not that terribly bad. One visit to get everything done. I would not recommend Manders Dental to anyone and will never go back.

Joyce Milton I highly recommend this dental facility, Dr. Collins and his staff are very professional care and compassion when it come to his patients. Dr. Collins team will work with your for the best affordable plan that works for you. I was one of those patient that could not afford to get my bridge done at this time. But being in Sales Manager I smile a lots. Dr. Collins suggested that I get a partner until I could do the bridge. I was able to leave office knowing that the space in my mount would be correct. And they was also able to set up a payment plan for me. That want I call caring about your patient at a reasonable price. I send my General Manager was very please with Dr. Collins and staff. Keep up the Good Work, I will continue to send people your way.

I went to Manders Dental for an emergency tooth ache over the weekend. Im talking about the worst pain ever in my mouth. I could barely sleep or eat so I found them on Google and saw that they accept walk ins for emergencies. They said I had a rotten tooth in my molar I believe. I didnt care what it was, all I know is that this pain needed to disappear fast. Dr. Collins took less than 30 minutes to Xray and extract my tooth with numbing it of course. I felt so relieved within walking out of the door that I had to write this review. Anybody in Smyrna that has toothaches I highly recommend them for inexpensive and quick service.

Very unprofessional!!!! My teeth feel worst now then before, they got over $2200 from me...I do not recommend this dentist to my worst enemy! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Two of the assistants were nice though...Dr.Collins is more interested in making money than the care of your teeth...he charged me $800 for a porcelain crown that doesnt even completely fit on my tooth, now its hard for me to eat certain foods, that were never a problem before...now I have to wait until next year for my roll over from my insurance provider to get it fix,because I refuse to go back to Manders!!! This place should be closed down!!!

This place is so much more reasonably priced than other offices around. Equipment may be not the top notch, but all the staff is very friendly and competent. They do very thorough work far less expensive than other places Ive tried.
