The dentist here is nice, but the dental hygienist who worked on me is another story. When she asked me if I flossed, I stated yes. Flossing has been something I really dislike and at one point and time never did it, but Ive been getting better with it over the last few years. However, the hygienists response was very out of line. You could tell she thought I was lying and kind of wanted to go back and forth about it. I have nothing to lie about. If I flossed I flossed, if I didnt I didnt, its as simple as that. Im sure if I were an older woman, she would not have had that tone with me. Just because I still look great and young for my age, doesnt mean you can talk to me any kind of way. Show me the same respect I show you. And to make matters worse, she was literally hurting me while performing the cleaning. Ive been going to the dentist twice a year for many, many years and Ive NEVER had that happen to me. And actually, the 6 months prior to me coming here was the best Id probably ever flossed in my life. So for her to be hurting me so bad to where I actually had to inform her and ask her to stop, thats not good at all. Her attitude got better towards the end but the damage was already done. We ended up realizing that I was not flossing correctly while using my floss picks...which is something my previous dentist told me 6 months prior but I guess I was making the same mistake. But this could have been resolved in the beginning, instead of her having a condescending tone with me. For these reasons, I will not be returning. Two stars for the nice dentist and the fact my teeth did get cleaned after all of the pain.
