Dont walk, RUN from this dental office! I now see why they are rated "F" by the BBB. In 2014, Parkway Dental provided dental services to my family. Before services were rendered, we asked if their office accepted Blue Cross and Blue Shield (BCBS) dental insurance. We provided our insurance card for verification. Their offices insurance person told us that they were a covered provider of BCBS. We further asked for a detailed quote for services. We were provided an amount which represented the amount we would owe after insurance coverage (out of pocket) and we agreed to pay that amount. After the claims were processed, only then did we learn that Parkway Dental was NOT a covered provider as represented by their office. As such, coverage was denied. We also learned from BCBS, as they keep detailed records, that Parkway Dental did not contact BCBS prior to services being rendered, as we had requested, to obtain and confirm coverage information. BCBSs records show that only after the claims were denied that their office called. Therefore, the quote they provided was bogus. Had Parkway Dental properly informed us that they were not a covered provider and had given us an accurate, good-faith estimate of the costs, we would NOT have had the services performed and sought a covered provider. We contacted Parkway Dental immediately when we received the bill and disputed the amount. They claimed no responsibility and stated that even though they called on our behalf, we (not them) should have called the insurance company and we (not them) should have obtained our own insurance quote for their services. I am not clear how they expected us to obtain an accurate quote for their services without asking them for it. Parkway Dental was negligent, at best, to state they were a covered provider of BCBS. Furthermore, they were negligent for providing a false, bad-faith quote. This office should be held responsible for their actions. Clearly, their office incentivizes their employees to be lazy and/or negligent by creating an environment where their office does not have to properly check (only say they checked) coverage because they can deny responsibility by strong-arming the customer into paying by hiring a collections agency.

I am amazed by the fact that I am now no longer petrified of going to the dentist. Since I had a horrible experience at age 15 Ive been afraid of the dentist. After many many years of not going to the dentist my teeth have greatly failed and have become a health risk to me. I sent an email to Parkway Dental last week and received a reply from Tracie... she welcomed me to come into the office and have a consultation done. I explained to her that I am terribly afraid of going to the dentist and didnt want to come in...she assured me that once I come in and meet Dr. Vakharia I wouldnt be afraid any more. After several email exchanges, I made an appointment and actually went in for a visit. I felt welcomed and calm the moment I walked in the door. Tracie greeted me by name on my first visit. I met Dr. V almost immediately and he assured me that I had nothing to fear. I had my appointment and found out that I needed A LOT of dental work done. I schedule my next appointment for the next week. I went in, everyone was super sweet... I had to have 7 extractions... Dr. V and Cindy did a SUPERB job and made me feel very comfortable. I am going back next Thursday for my next appointment... more extractions of my terrible teeth. I am actually looking forward to this visit (yes Im still a little nervous but I know that they will take care of me). Dr. V, Cindy, Tracie and the entire staff at Parkway Dental ROCK and I will be a patient for life!! They definitely deserve more than 5 stars!!!!

I am new to the area and Dr. Vakharia was recommended to me by a friend and it was the best recommendation Ive taken. Both he and his staff are extremely professional, highly competent, and deliver world-class service. I had some extensive work needed and his insurance professionals were able to get the maximum benefits for me to ensure that I was able to get everything done this year with the lowest possible out-of-pocket expense. The quality of the work was excellent and the doctor followed up with me personally after each visit to make sure I was pain-free and completely satisfied. The office area is clean and inviting, the wait times are very short, and I received a greeting immediately upon arrival for every appointment. The office staff and hygienists are all extremely capable and deliver excellent service. Dr. Vakharia is very friendly and treated me as an individual by taking the time to listen, understand, and answer questions. He genuinely seems to like what he does and he is the first dentist Ive ever heard singing snippets of songs along to the radio while he works. I have had at least ten other dentists in my life and Dr. Vakharia is the only one who seems to actually like patient interaction. His calm and cheerful manner combined with professional competence took the stress out of my dental visits. None of us likes to go to the dentist, but the friendly staff and level of service here are second to none. I highly recommend Parkway Dental.

tl;dr: the top photo shows the great work Dr. Patel and his team did (check out how well the shade matches). The bottom 3 photos show the progression from beginning to end. BEST DENTIST EVER. I first went to Parkway Dental a little over a year ago for a tricky implant consultation. I had visited my oral surgeon who recommended against implants given the amount of space in my mouth. Dr. Patel did a complete consultation and let me know that because my case was tricky, hed be gathering some information from his trusted colleagues and consulting with my surgeon. I decided after that consultation that Dr. Patel would be my new general dentist. His attention to detail and chairside manner are unmatched. After a couple of months, Dr. Patel personally called me back with a fully vetted solution that he had already run by my surgeon. Although I was not a candidate for implants, he took care of my mouth as if it were his own and made sure I was comfortable with the solution he proposed. Throughout the entire process I was never concerned that my case wasnt being carefully considered, and on the day(s) of the procedure, Wendy, my dental assistant, was just as excited as I was. In the end, I left with a perfectly matched crown/bridge (seriously, Im still shocked by how well Wendy and Dr. Patel matched the color), and I could not be happier.

I dont even know where to begin when rating this dentist office. Lets just say they are AWESOME to begin with. I went in to see Dr. Vakharia for consults on teeth where I had previous work completed at Great Expressions over the past few years and was still having issues. Lets just say that I will NEVER EVER visit any one of these chain dentist offices again after visiting Parkway Dental. Great Expressions has outdated equipment and I was so wonderfully surprised by all of the updated equipment (digital x-rays and cameras and projection screens to show to patients) and their ability to show me exactly what was going on with my teeth. Needless to say, I have to have re-work done one the teeth where I previously had work done by Great Expressions, but this office also consulted with me about the process to dispute with the insurance company and ask for refunds from the previous office for the work that had to be re-done. Ive already had my first major procedure completed her at Parkway Dental (root canal) and I didnt experience any pain. I cant say enough great things about this office. Top level service for the every day person. You will not be disappointed.
