Went in for an appointment on Dec. 26th. The wait time wasnt an issue and was normal based on all the doctors offices I have been in. What I couldnt believe was the "customer service". Nurses and doctors deal with sensitive private information and shouldnt be talking loudly enough to be heard through closed doors using patients names. I could hear several nurses talking about me, saying my name and speaking loud enough for me to hear them clearly through a closed door, complaining about me and wondering why I had come in today. I am a new patient and this was only my second time in the office. I really have no idea what they had against me, all that had been done was the weigh-in and giving a urine sample and then I was put into an exam room. One nurse was complaining saying she didnt think they took my kind of insurance, as if it was inferior and made me undesirable. When the doctor came in and asked me if I was ok, I told her that I could hear the nurses talking about me, she looked at me and said well I wasnt out there so I dont know. During my exam the doctor had to tell the nurse who helped with my pap smear to chill and the nurse gave me dirty looks and look extremely uncomfortable like she didnt want to be in the room with me, the nurse even asked if she could leave the room and the doctor told her no. I then asked for clarification on the paperwork they were asking me to sign and the nurse helping me didnt even understand it and had to ask someone else about it three times. I understand that the nurses probably deal with this paperwork everyday and it makes sense to them but it wasnt clear to me and I didnt want to end up owing $610 for tests that I didnt need. I was being told that if I didnt sign the paperwork then I couldnt get the pap smear even though I was under the impression that it was included in what is considered a yearly wellness check-up. After the third time of bring in the paperwork the nurse left me sitting in the room with no indication if I was done and could leave. I waited 10 minutes before someone came in to clean the room. She just looked at me and huffed asking why I was still in there and telling me that I should have left already. I will not be returning to this facility again.

Stay away from this place. Due to the medication that I take, blood tests must be run every 3 months, and they were adding in superfluous tests that I had not requested, that were not relevant to the treatment, and were not covered by my insurance company. They insist that I see a doctor at every visit, even when I am just there to have my blood drawn (I checked on this and it is a rule put in place by ELFP, not the DEA) They have messed up my prescriptions more times than they have gotten them correct - even though I have the same one written at every visit. They lost my consent form allowing my wife to pick up my medicine - multiple times. My wife, who was pregnant, went in for some routine blood work and they ran the wrong tests, and then informed her that she had lost the baby (she hadnt.) I had to be treated for a somewhat embarrassing medical condition, and the attending physician, a woman who is a few years younger than me, began to giggle as I described my problem to her. They have the worst customer service and billing department I have ever encountered (they sent my account into collections, even though I had made them keenly aware of a dispute I had with my bill because *they* lost a letter of continuation of coverage from my previous insurance company. I could go on, but the bottom line is this - I have been in their office, at minimum, every three months for the last 9 years and the doctors still do not know my name without looking at my chart. If they put half as much effort toward patient care as they do toward collecting fees, they would be a top notch doctors office. As it stands, they are a group of greedy, inept quacks; the likes for whom medical malpractice insurance was created.

My recent visit to see my DR. was just a pleasant experience. A lot of changes in staff have taken place over the last 5 years.. They have all been for the better. the receptionist made me feel like Im a valued patient. Such a difference from a few year ago. A couple of visits ago I was a walk-in one afternoon. The back up was 2 hours for walk-in. Due to the condition I was in, The receptionist made an appointment for me at another facility and I walked right in there and they seen me quickly. That is an example of VERY good service. On the recent visit this week to see Dr. Chun. She is the best and her staff, top notch. Dr Chun always has time to explain conditions and examples of improving my health. Upon exiting the referral personnel were short with me and pointed on down the hall to the checkout lady for my referrals. She could have had a bad day. But Im not sure because I had to go back for bloodwork today and the same lady I noticed, as I passed, by was still frowning. The Checkout lady was so nice and helpful with the referrals Dr. Chun had orders for. She explained and printed out my scheduled visits for later in the year. Dr. Chun and her nurses are the reason I go to the Stockbridge Eagles Landing Family Practice. The front end staff have now made it so much more of good decision

The first time I went to this office (about 4-6 weeks ago) the visit was fine. Not a long wait, doctor was great, given proper meds for issue. I had to go back because same issue came up again. This time they tried to tell me the wait would be terribly long and did I want to drive to another office to see someone else? I had just been in traffic over an hour and said no, Id wait. Less than 15 minutes and I was put into a waiting room. When I finally got to see a doctor (Dr Heidi Chun) she had a terrible bedside manor. I was doing my best not to get upset because of my issue coming back but she looked at me and said "why are you crying? Its all perspective. I see lots of people with way worse problems". She also continued to tell me what to do to prevent my issue from returning, even though everything she had recommended were things I had already been doing because I was told those things during my previous visit. Then after I left to go pick up my prescription that was supposed to be called in, the pharmacy said there was nothing called in. I am very frustrated and feel as if I was pushed aside. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Called in to ask how to get a doctors excuse from work (on a Saturday, which is supposedly by appt. only) and was told that unless I was treated previously for whatever bug Ive got, they were unable to provide one. I called back a few minutes later (after trying to contact my H.R. department, and insurance provider) and asked to speak with an actual doctor, was told they were unavailable (which I somewhat understand), and ignored again. I told her that I was coming to the office and would wait to see a doctor, and suddenly she decided to look me up, but of course I was "not in the system". Even though Ive been going to the same office, with the same HMO, and only two Primary care Physicians for the last three years. This is the first time Ive ever tried to get a doctors note from them, and was treated like dirt. I will be changing offices as soon as possible. Previously, Ive had similar experiences to many others on here, including: Assistants giggling at embarrassing conditions, ridiculously long waits, double bookings, and lost paperwork.
