First time seeing a dentist in years, and they were very warm, welcoming, and thorough. The only thing that was a bit tedious on my first visit was that I had to sign several approval forms each time a step was priced for me. Other than that, once I was able to approve the amount needed for my appointment all systems were go. I was a bit nervous and anxious, because I wasnt sure what to expect about the condition of my teeth, and figured my procedure would be a elaborate extraction of some kind with painful and uncomfortable recovery. But, that wasnt the case at all...whatever methods and quality of products they use while working on my teeth worked wonders, and they were surprised at the condition of my teeth being so healthy since my last exam was 2007. Although, I know they have high demand for patients needs, I wish it was a bit more relaxing and peaceful environment. I think that would be the only thing I miss from a private practice. Im glad to know this Coast Dentals location environment matches the quality family practice and quality employees as a national business. Glad I decided to be seen by Coast Dental, they are super close to me, great rapport with the Doctor and staff, and affordable payment plans. Cant wait to get my permeant crown and the last of my fillings done to ring in the new year! *3/12/17 I kind of regret getting any other services done here. My fillings and permanent crown are still healing and sensitive after three weeks of healing, and havent had a response to wanting my bite evened out and cancel any further procedures. They are just too busy for my taste as someone who values maintaining their health, not causing any unnecessary health concerns then already present, and quality attentiveness from a practitioner.

You are greeted with a smile when you walk in. Dr. Thomas was very polite and detailed with me. He didnt hurt me. I forgot her name but the young lady that checked my teeth for my cleaning was gentle with me also. Robin is someone I had the pleasure of having help service me at one of their other locations and she was always polite and funny. I think I over worked her today explaining things to me over again. And she smiled the entire time. She did get on me about the amount of cavities I had since I last saw her in 2015. One thing I dislike is the cost of the dentist when you dont have insurance, because as you know it can cost alot. I think thats why people dont go as often as they should. The cost. But she went over the procedures and cost of everything to me. Even with all the cavities and root canal I will need about 3000.00 dollars out of pocket. I just hope they allow me a payment plan since I dont have that kind of money right now. Even with that blow to my pocket I would still recommend people to this Stone Mountain location. They have a lot of nice people at this location. Thanks Robin for being such a sweet lady. Give this woman a raise. Keep up the great work and it was good seeing you. You make me feel at ease.

I visited the Douglasville office, had to give my insurance information twice, I was told that I would most likely be treated the same day. Well, of course I was not treated that day, it was the offices first day in operation. Which, I should have been told that. I need my wisdom teeth pulled, have been in pain for several weeks, the dentist would not give me any pain meds until my appointment, which was another two weeks away. So, now that is over a month of pain. The day before the appointment, I was called once again to give insurance information to the receptionist. I was not reminded of the appoiment time, so the next morning I called and had already missed the appointment. When I asked could I be squeezed in the said yes, but the receptionist talked so rudely to me, I was afraid to keep the appointment. I would not suggest visiting this facility, I get the impression that because they offer free or discounted services, they treat you less then human because you dont have to pay.

I would not recommend this office to my worst enemy. The staff is very unprofessional and ghetto. The have no idea how to communicate to you as a guest, they wanna over talk you, mislead you when it come to billing and if you present them with copies of documents and x-rays from another dentist office they will not return them back to you. When it come to billing they will certainly over bill you with in office procedures which no insurance company will pay, they already know this and will encourage you to fill a claim with your insurance company. These in office procedures are just to lined their pockets. You wont feel good about your experience once you leave within 2 weeks you will receive a bill with a balance due from these folks. I regret that I gave 1 star, they desire zero. Run, run, run, do yourself a favor choose another dentist office.

Today I went to the dentist for the first time in 19 years. It was a wonderful considering I needed A LOT of work. Pain was nothing like I thought it would be. Actually no PAIN!! Im terrified of dentist BUT Coast Dental in Stone Mountain made me feel right at home. Most of all the WHOLE staff is AWESOME!!! :-) :-) :-) My husband had work done as well and from now on we have a dentist group that we can see on regular basis. I also LOVE the fact that everything you need done to your teeth is right in the office. They dont have to send you out any where else to get work done. (REALLY GLAD ABOUT THAT)!!!! I could go on all day about Coast Dental Group. They are the BEST!!!!!! My husband and I certainly enyjoyed our EXPERIENCE!!!! I recommend who ever may need work done to PLEASE go!!! Front desk staff are friendly and seem to be efficient. Nicole the Hygenist is also professional and very cordial. HOWEVER, Dr. Moody - the actual dentist - has proven to be short tempered, thin skinned and unprofessional. Shes an older doctor and I chose to over look that because I respect seasoned citizens of all walks of life, and certainly those who are still practicing professionally. HOWEVER, you dont get to practice your temperamental and inpatient behavior on me and my mouth. I wouldnt allow or trust her to even fill a tiny cavity on me anymore. And her incompetent assistant, Ebony or whatever her name is, needs to be sent back to dental assistant school because shes inept and cant even take an Xray! Good riddance to unprofessional behavior!

Anyone who knows me knows how apprehensive I am have any dental work done. I have never had a problem with my teeth until now. So, I was looking for a dental office that was close to home and I was BLESSED to find Costal Dental Stone Mountain!! From the start to finish my experience was EXCELLENT!! I was so afraid to have my tooth extracted but I know that I needed to have it done. Dr Harrison, Jami, Tammy, Sheila, Peaches & Deyuanna were AMAZING!!! Everyone was a complete pleasure!!! Peaches, was so sweet and warm and made me relaxed. Dr Harrison was gentle, I had NO PAIN!!!!! I am so glad that I found a dental office that I can go to for my oral health!
