Went in to the emergency room with my mother for her arm. She had a dog bite that seemed it had only broken the skin, come to find out the bone was actually broken. A nurse who was asking questions and such had attitude from the beginning. My mother tried to lighten the mood and cracked a couple jokes. Didnt work. Even asked if she had a rough day because she was cranky. She completely ignored her and changed her attitude a bit with the doctor. They were having issues with the medication dispenser and we were trying to see if they could give her tylenol for the pain. With attitude she rolled her eyes and said it all comes out of the same machine so its the same amount of time. You never disrespect someone like that. It was un professional and rude. Never did she apologize. They only switched out nurses after i told her we did not need any attitude from her..one nurse tried to tell me it was because she had a rough day. There were only two amazing people we dealt with. A guy who took the xray was very kind and helpful. The oncoming nurse/assistant (cannot remember her name. Really short hair) she was awesome and made sure she was wrapped up and okay to go on the ride to boise before leaving. She had to go to emergency surgery in boise, which we wouldnt have known if dr. Wolf didnt demand we come. The doctor at valor er told my mom she could wait till Monday for the emmett guy to come back. Dr wolf demanded we go right away. It was very important and she needed to have surgery. It almost seems like the day staff is the issue because when i have gone in the evening they have usually always been awesome. But they were my children. So it could be the way they treat adults compared to children. Even if you had a rough day you cannot take that out on your patients. No excuses. No patient should feel like they arent good enough or they arent worth someones time. They need to feel like you are going to do what it takes to help them and when they are scared or in pain they need to have their mind taken off it. Not be treated terrible.

Had my baby here 10 months ago. Dr. McGuffey had me waiting 45 mins with my childs head coming out because I had an epidural. Hospital called her over 3 times and she said I was fine, they did not turn her while being birthed, she came out face down. Her leg look mengaled. My child was not breathing at first. At 10 months old she is unable to sit crawl or use her hands and I blame it on this hospital for not treating her correctly.

Once this week they made my wife wait 2 hours before being seen while she couldnt breathe, and tonight we were there for 4 hours and the doctor was actually on Facebook when I was talking to him. Drive to boise this place is a joke.

The most unprofessional experience I have ever had. I sprained my ankle really bad and asked for Tylenol multiple times over a 3.5 hour period and they just ignored me. They are condescending, and rude.
