I have been going to Advanced Family Eyecare now for 4 years and couldnt recommend them enough. I had previously been trying out a number of other eye Drs in the area (Bolingbrook, Naperville, etc), but none had the right fit for me. Dr Subak is fantastic and takes the time to talk to you. He has offered great advice on treatment that I can do to improve the eye issues that I have. Their technology/equipment here is also state of the art. I personally take part in all the optional eye tests to ensure my good eye health. Beyond just that though, they have a wonderful staff that will go the extra mile in helping you. My recent visit was just last week and I was looking to get a new pair of prescription sunglasses. I was working with Kelly and she took the time to find just the right pair (and believe me, Im very picky when it comes to my glasses). I always make sure to get the staff opinions on which pair look best on me (and I like that they provide honest feedback). Kelly was so patient and ended up finding a pair I hadnt seen that was exactly what I was looking for. I cant wait to go back and pick them up when they are done. Thank you so much to Dr Subak, Kelly and the rest of the team for doing an outstanding job all around!

I have been a patient of Dr. Subaks for 22 years and had my annual eye exam on August 22, 2016. As always, the experience was first class. The team at the front desk is always pleasant, helpful, and efficient at getting you checked-in and your exam underway. Despite being a small family like office Advanced Family Eyecare Center has state of the art technology that provides you with a much more thorough exam. Dr Subak takes the time to explain all of the results to you in a way that you can understand them. His time, attention, and manner with patients is always refreshing and enjoyable. If you need glasses, the team at the front desk is great at helping you find a pair that is suitable for your needs, facial size/features, and within your budget. They also do a great job of explaining exactly what your charges are for the exam and your glasses. I wouldnt go anywhere else in the area for mine and my familys eye care. Advanced Family Eyecare is hands down the best practice in the area.

Advanced Family Eyecare continues to go above and beyond to make sure that my family is taken care of! Almost 2 years ago, they reassured me as a very scared mom with a 2 year old boy whos eyes were consistently crossing. It turns out he needed glasses to help with his Accommodative Esotropia ! It might seem like a simple fix but neither my husband or I ever had glasses. So instead of rushing us through, they took the time to explain EVERYTHING! The choices of frames, the lenses, what he sees...etc. Time and time again they have been there for us whether we just needed a quick replacement nose piece for his glasses or reminding me by text messaging and mail that its time for our appointments! I couldnt be more pleased with the friendly, dedicated and knowledgeable staff! They truly make you feel like family when you walk in and now both my boys ask to go see the eye doctor!

I have had wonderful service since my first appointment in 2004. Going to the eye doctor is sometimes confusing and Dr. Subak is very patient when I make him go back and forth between different views to see which is better. If youve ever been to the eye doctor you know what I mean. The staff is also very helpful and patient. One time in particular my eye just hurt and there was no reason. I called and said, "I just feel like something is wrong." They asked the expected questions and then said, "Come in and we will check it out." And I did not feel stupid, and it ended up that I had a huge scratch on my cornea. Highly recommend to anyone and have referred many friends over the years and they have all been pleased.

I love Advanced Family Eyecare! My husband, children and I have been seeing Dr. Subak for annual check-ups (and now glasses) for over 25 years now. Dr. Subak is always up-to-date on the latest research, and always seems to have the newest technology. The the staff (especially Chris Subak) is so friendly. My husband and I always have Chris help us pick out our new frames, because she is phenomenal at it! I feel like I have had a mini make-over when she finds me the perfect frames. You are never kept waiting, and yet never feel like the process was rushed. I am happy to leave this part of my healthcare in the care of Dr. Subaks and his professional and yet personable staff!

Ive been seeing Dr. Subak at Advanced Famiy Eyecare for many years. From the moment you walk in and are greeted by the friendly staff through your eye exam with Dr. Subak, you are treated as if you are their only patient. They explain all the tests they have available to check your vision and walk you through each one as they are conducted. Dr. Subak is an excellent eye doctor who spends quality time checking your vision and understanding your overall health. Ordering glasses and contacts is a simple process and they are quickly available for pick up. I highly recommend AFECC to anyone looking for a superior eye care office.

Everyone in the office is pleasant and accommodating and I have never had a long wait. My appointment time was accurate. I have been going to Dr. S for many years and am pleased with the thoroughness of his exams. He is genuinely concerned about the eye health of his patients and will do everything necessary to provide a comprehensive exam. The office staff has always been helpful in selecting and order glasses. They will even take the time to look through vendor catalogs and on line to find a frame style that may not be in the store, but fits what I am looking for. I would not go anywhere else for my eye care!!!!!

Dr. Hager has been fantastic to work with recently on my new prescription for contact lenses. I have an extremely difficult prescription and now have the best set of lenses that I have had in decades. She is very detailed, patient, and concerned about getting the best product to meet my needs, regardless of how many challenges found in getting the right prescription for me along the way. The Advanced Family Eyecare facility has the most comprehensive, cutting edge technology I have ever seen and the staff is friendly and very accommodating in their scheduling for people with busy schedules. I highly recommend them.

My family & I have been patients here for over 7 yrs. 2 of my kids have vision conditions requiring a bit more care, therapy, & assistance. Dr. Subak, Dr. Hager, as well as the entire staff have been wonderful through the yrs. My oldest now has specific contacts that have helped stop her vision from worsening. Also, my younger child has new lenses that significantly help her perception discrepancy. Now, she doesnt want to take her glasses off! I cant speak more highly of everyone at this office. They treat you like family & my kids love going to their eye apts. Thank you Advanced Family Eyecare!
