Maybe the worst run business in the area. Once before, the wrong glasses were made for me. I wrote it off as a simple error but I now believe the problem was incompetence. I recently ordered two pairs of glasses. One came back with ONE transition lens, requiring it to be sent back. The second pair...a simple lens exchange, took 3 1/2 weeks to get. As they seemed to know nothing about these glasses after two weeks, Im assuming they simply did not place the order. They also lied about having called and leaving a message......unless they screwed that up as well. I went back to pick up my glasses after rushing back from a long trip, but was 4 minutes past closing when I arrived. There was an entire staff inside but they would not even come to the door....they just mouthed "Were closed" and ignored me! Only after I banged louder on the door did they come over and then told me that "once the door is closed they cant open it". They refused to give me the glasses. Counting one extra trip when they were closed due to a storm, I will now need to make my 7th trip to the store to finally have my 2 pairs of glasses. I could not believe the rudeness and arrogance they showed me and the unwillingness to make ANY effort to help! I have purchased several pairs of glasses at Rosin over the years but NEVER again. These people do not understand basic customer service and are not worthy of doing business with.

The sales person made me feel very uncomfortable right at the beginning when I told her I am in the hurry (lunch brake duh!). I understand, I need to fill out the paperwork for insurance, but when I told her I do not know my husbands last numbers of social she basically looked at me with an expression of contempt. I felt so stunned with her attitude, I decided not to give her information about where my husband works and obviously she rolled her eyes again and said “what you do not know where your husband works?” I am in sales my self and I would never make customer feel like he or she is stupid moron. I told her I will call them back when I get the information and said that I am not comfortable talking to her, then I left. On my way I looked back and I saw her basically putting my papers in the garbage. WOW, great experience. I will never go back to this place, period. It looked like a very nice office, but I was very unlucky with the sales person.

I had never been to Rosin before and was not sure what to expect. I had called ahead of coming in and my phone call was received with a friendly tone. Upon going to Rosin, I was greeted with friendly faces who approached me with kindness and professionalism. Lisa helped me pick out glasses and could not have been more helpful, kind, funny and accommodating. I was so grateful to have her help me! Everyone I met was extremely nice and allowed me to feel comfortable in a situation that I normally would not have. Thank you!

I will not be going back to Rosin. My first visit to the Downers Grove location I needed contacts in a hurry before a trip. They were not sure if I would get my lenses in time, so I asked for a few pairs of trial lenses just to be safe. They CHARGED me $35 for the "DO NOT RESELL" trial lenses.... Today I tried to reorder contacts online, and Rosin refused to send my prescription because it was "too close" to the 1 year date. Instead, Rosin is pushing their own online reorder service.

My last visit was because I had a busted blood vessel in my right eye, this has never happen to me before it was a little scary. I called the office and my doctor was not in however I was seen right away. I received a good eye exam and wad told it would be fine. it looked a lot worse then it was. the doctor said it would be gone in about a week, and would be as good as new. He was right on the money! one week later it was cleared up. Thank you!!!

As indicated the glasses technicians are awesome & extremely efficient & helpful !!!! alissa at the front desk did Seem to want to hear about my sons glasses being broke & needing a new pair - she kept telling me to come in & then said she would call me back but didnt. I called back & asked for a glasses tech & he ordered me new glasses immediately & put a rush on them !!!!! Wonderful to deal with all of the techs at this location!

My experience at Rosin Eyecare right from the initial appointment to being fitted for glasses was so smooth. The doctors are very educating and thorough. I could have taken my prescription and gone elsewhere to purchase my contacts and glasses. However I would not have gotten the best customer service or large choice of frames anywhere. I have recommended my family and friends to Rosin.

Ive been a patient at Rosin for several years and have never had a bad experience. Just recently, I had to switch from wearing contacts to glasses. One of the technicians helped me pick out frames and I have been receiving compliments. All the people working in the Downers Grove office are pleasant and very helpful. We have been coming for years, I think maybe thirty years. The service is excellent and the glasses are quality, not some kind of Walmart cheap glasses. We would never go anywhere else for glasses. Thank you rosin Eyecare, the best in the western suburbs.

Great practice overall. The nice thing is with my insurance (eyemed) not many private offices take it. They did and for 4 years cant complain. The last visit was great doctor saw that I had my 2yo daughter in tow and made sure I was in and out quickly.

The ophthalmologist there said I had glaucoma and floppy eye syndrome and would never wear contacts again (Im 42 years old, not exactly what I thought I was going to hear). Guess what, I have neither. What a joke, I was so upset after I left there.

Tracey is always excellent! Both Lisa and Daniella are fabulous! We only want to be serviced by one of these 3 ladies. They present themselves with confidence and put you at ease right away. PLEASE bring back the eye glasses spray!!!!!!
