I GAVE THIS STORE A FIVE STAR RATING ONLY BECAUSE OF THE MANAGER GEORGE. THIS MAN KNOWS HOW TO DEAL WITH THE PUBLIC & IS HONEST ABOUT SHARING INFORMATION ABOUT THE PRODUCTS THAT ARE ON THE SHELVES. HAS A VERY KOOL PERSONALITY WITHOUT BEING TO FAMILIAR. HE HAS WISDOM BEYOND HIS YEARS AND SHARES THAT WITH YOU AS IT RELATES TO YOURE HEALTH. BUT AS FOR MOST OF THE OTHER STAFF THAT I HAVE HAD THE MOST UNPLEASANT MIS-FORTUNE, OF MEETING, I HAVE FOUND THEM AT BEST TO BE, BANKRUPT IN THE FUNDAMENTAL AREA OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, (RUDE), LACKING IN BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF THE PRODUCTS THAT ARE IN THE STORE, & CONFRONTATIONAL WHEN QUESTIONED ABOUT BOGUS INFORMATION THAT THEY SO GENEROUSLY OFFER. I COULD GO ON, & ON BUT TIME & SPACE DOES NOT ALLOW FOR THE KIND OF DISMANTLING THAT WOULD BE NEEDED. SO FOR ME IF GEORGE IS NOT ON SITE & IF I HAVE THE TIME I WILL TURN RIGHT AROUND & TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. THE FIVE STARS ARE ALL FOR GEORGE! I THINK THAT HE IS SINGLE HANDEDLY KEEPING THE DOORS OPEN ALL BY HIMSELF. CHRIS THIS IS RAHIM WE HAVE KNOWN EACH OTHER FOR YEARS!!! PLEASE GET GEORGE THE, SUPPORTING STAFF SO THAT THE ONCE GREAT, HOUSE OF GANDI THAT TRANSITIONED INTO, BONNE SANTE CAN CONTINUE TO GROW. WITHOUT YOU & FIONA HEADING UP THE STAFF LINEUP.

I frequent this store at least 2 times per month or when in need of something in particular. As of recent, about 6 months ago, i met the manager George.....great CS! I love this place! This is definitely because of George. If you werent there George, things might b pretty shaky! Although, i will say theres 2 young ladies that go out of there way to help me find the products i need and are very knowledgeable and patient! ;) Ill send a followup with your names......my memory fails me. Lol! So, compared to whole foods, whose prices are ridiculous, and other health stores, This one serves all your needs and are reasonably priced. As far as the juice bar is concerned, there is definitely much needed work.....toooo much talk about nothing.....VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Thank you much to the 3 of you mentioned above for making my experience the best! :) See ya soon.

The store has a long history in HP, however the owners are out of state and has hired a manager, Don, and staff that lacks the necessary training to deliver effective customer service. It used to be a haven to learn and enjoy, however, the management and staff are limited in their training and experience, and are disrespectful and ignorant. Although Whole Foods and Natural Harvest are a bit of a ways away, please dont forego decent customer service for convenience, because the entire staff, (espiecially Don the manager with his immature and insecure, incompetent leadership skills) with the exception of, George the juicebar guy and a nice UK accented woman, everyone there is disgustingly disrespectful which completely limits the experience of healing and natural living.

Wonderful options for Hyde Park :) Especially great section for less toxic and non-toxic choices for lotions, shampoos, deodorants. I can only imagine with the continued growth of Hyde Park and the development on 53rd street that they will be seeking a larger space as the current space is utilized to the brim! My only neg would be the hours open... Expanding on those would be appreciated as a 9:30 am start for a grocery store is a bit biased against early risers ;-)

Im so sick and tired of lazy people. I came in today at 6:50 and you cant make a smoothie? I personally think its unprofessional to say you close at 7 but its not 7 yet. But you want to sit there and talk about things that do not relate to work? Very unprofessional. I will not be returning. Its not even black owned smh. Its always so disappointing to see my own black people being unprofessional towards your own people. Do better!

I really like this place. The staff have always been helpful. I love the juice bar. The guy behind the bar, Manny, hooked me up with a fruit smoothie that tasted out of this world!!!! I also picked up a package of organic oatmeal animal crackers intended for my son, but I ended up eating those, lol. Going back to replace them & get another amazing smoothie.

My experience was not a good one I waited atleast 30 mins and never recieved a smoothie I ordered and paid for. I dont feel the staff did anything to expidite my order... so I requested a refund. The barista put several orders in front of my order and failed to aknowledge my presence. The juice bar was not even busy. This was my first and LAST visit.

this has long been my goal to spot, in the area, whenever I wanted to buy health food or healthy products. The staff is eminently knowledgeable about health and how to use food to maintain yourself. I have never been disappointed here. A great place to begin to learn more about healthy foods and to purchase some as well! Highly recommended.

I am absolutely addicted to their smoothies here. They have great lunch deals - smoothie and 1/2 panini for $9, and its very good. I also recommend their energy balls, gluten-free brownies and desserts. Good selection of kombucha as well. Their point system make it easy to earn smoothies. Definitely recommend!

AWESOME diversity of supplements, healthy food, vegan desserts, vitamins, and things you cant easily find in a grocery store or a GMC. Their smoothies are the best. I drive to town for them. Reasonably priced. Small family feel, and more reasonably priced than my normal go-to of whole foods or marianos.

Great Store! The staff is very Helpful with all of your questions and needs. The prices are a little high, but worth the local access. Don the manager is GREAT, and has been a great support for years! If the prices went down, I would give it 4 Stars!!!!
