My insurance assigned me to Dr. Khoshnood, and although it was a bit of a hike, I went there due to my bad tooth pain. Although it had been my first time there, I asked if we could do our initial visit and exam another day and stick to the problem at hand. Im a little apprehensive about the dentist but Dr. Khoshnood made me feel very comfortable despite the awful pain in my left molar. After a couple of xrays it was determined that I had a bad tooth, that either needed a root canal or an extraction. I chose a root canal because I like to keep all of my teeth in my mouth for as long as possible. The doc was had a very calming voice and was very gentle. It always bothered my when a dentist would ask you questions that werent just yes or no while they have there hand and tools in my mouth. He did not do this. Other than a couple yes or no questions such as "Are you alright?" He made small talk that didnt require me to do anything but listen. He was very thorough and explained everything that was going on and needed to be done. The equipment was clean and the staff was incredibly nice and welcoming. I was still numb when I left and had the normal soreness for a few days after the procedure. I kept up with my pain medication. Needless to say, Dr. Khoshnood did a great job on my root canal. It healed well and I am no longer in agonizing pain. It seems I have found myself a great dentist and will stick with him for any future problems!

I was recently dog sitting for my friend out in Edgewater and figured it would be a great opportunity to get my teeth cleaned because lets be honest, theres not THAT much to do in Edgewater and I couldnt physically sit in her house and watch her dog around the clock. Sooo I looked up some dentists in the area and stumbled upon Dr. Knoshnood. Jealous of his name, I had to meet him. I called to make an appointment and low and behold a cancellation for the following day had just recently occurred so they were able to get me in then. Fate. I was there for my yearly teeth cleaning which I dread. I love the feeling afterward, but getting it done is just awful. The scraping, scratching, ointments on my teeth…all that. Just get it over with already! Anyway, Knosh (I shortened it cause I think were friends and thats his nickname) hooked me up with the cleanest teeth in town. He was thorough and surprisingly "gentle" - Ive had dentists go at my teeth like theyre going to war. I left there like I was leaving a masseuse. Great experience.

I had a terrible pain in one of my right molars, my insurance company placed me with Dr. Khoshnood. I was very nervous at first, going to the dentist can, and it is always, frightening experience. Dr. Khoshnood was very nice and reasuring, the staff took my x-rays and determined that I only needed a filling, as a cautionary measure he did a brief dental cleaning, he also cleaned the molar in question. I walked out of there pain free. After few days I felt great, the filling works perfectly fine. I give five stars to Dr. Khoshnood for niceness, cleanliness, professionalism, and reassurance, everyone at his office was amazing, nice, and helpful. If I ever have another dental emergency I will totally come back to get taken care of by Dr. Reza. He takes most insurances and prices are very fair, anyway.

I’m not a huge fan of the dentist, but I also don’t want to lose any teeth either. As such, I evaluate a trip to the dentist with criteria that start at a low end of tooth-grindingly unpleasant up to a high end of minor discomfort. Dr. Khoshnood was as high on the scale as I can imagine. He was quick and professional, and seemed pretty thorough. I left with the clean feeling I was looking for—no gritty toothpaste residue either. Pretty good experience for a trip to the dentist.
