My husband and I flew in from FL to see Dr. Salinger, after having had a terrible experience with FL dentists. (Of course, we’ve been to Dr. Salinger previously). Like other reviewers, when in Chicago, we also drive long way to see him. He is a rare gem. We trust his professional judgment, he will do everything he can to save the tooth rather than jumping to most invasive and expensive options. Hell never over-charge. He always follows-up to make sure you are ok, I don’t know how he finds time for that. He also helps the elderly with their dental issues making home visits.

Dr. Salinger is a superb dentist. With how great he is, I am surprised at how easy it is to get a timely appointment. Dr. Salinger is personable, patient, gentle, kind, and just about anything else you could think of that you would want in a dentist. Like a previous review, I live far from his office, but am happy to drive to him. As someone who used to have an irrational fear of dentists, I am completely comfortable under his care and highly recommend him.

Excellent dentist! Responds to emergencies, professional, understanding, warm, innovative and dedicated to his profession. Dr Salinger also keeps his prices reasonable. I have been seeing him for 35 years, and I now drive over an hour each way to his office, and it is well worth it! My children also like him very much.
