Ive been with the same dentist for all 33 years of my life before moving to Chicago. He was always very good; and I was truthfully a bit nervous about finding someone new to dig around in my mouth. That being said, since switching to Dr. McWilliams at East Village Dental, Ive been blown away by the first-class service Ive received. Not only is he a great dentist with a practiced hand, his easygoing mouth-side manner is fantastic. I went in to the office simply as a same-day emergency call, and was shown respect, patience, (plus a first-time visit $50 discount!) and a friendly, knowledgeable doctor who took the time to get to know me and listen to everything I had to say before diving in and poking at my teeth with his instruments. Not to mention the whole office is equipped with the best and newest in dental technology, so Im kept in the loop with whats going on in my mouth in real time, and in terms I can understand. Since that first visit, Ive been in for a few follow-up checkups, one fairly major procedure, and a cleaning. In each case, Dr. McWilliams and each of the techs/assistants Ive had work in my mouth have all been kind, courteous, gentle, and incredibly knowledgeable in their respective areas of expertise. Great skill at ones profession is important. But great customer service - especially in medical fields - can sometimes be hard to find. The folks at East Village Dental have BOTH in spades. I feel valued as a patient when Im there, which puts my mind at ease and makes me feel comfortable; which I think is very important when youre looking for someone to put their hands in your mouth. Lastly, the office is fully equipped with the latest technology needed to make visits less-invasive and more informative - large screen monitors that show you your x-rays, teeth photos, etc, so you know what theyre doing in there in real time. And before each procedure starts (after your initial consultation of course), youre given a full list of what procedures/prices to expect, as well as payment options for those who need to spread out the payment procedure, so youre never blindsided with a huge bill. All in all, East Village Dental has provided me with the best dental service Ive ever received, and I simply cannot recommend them highly enough.

I give my highest endorsement to the East Village Dental Centre and all associated staff. I now consider Dr, Treinkman to be my dentist of choice, despite living in Washington DC. I experienced a dental emergency on a Saturday in December and was immediately accommodated. My displaced crown was bonded quickly, comfortably and effectively by Dr. Treinkman and I have since returned to receive a replacement crown. I feel completely confident in the care of Dr.Treinkman and certainly appreciate his highly competent, experienced and compassionate approach. The atmosphere within the practice is warm and welcoming and I was immediately impressed by the tenure of many of the staff. It is very evident that the team are highly skilled, passionate and take great pride in their work and place of employment. Prior to my appointment to replace my crown, Rui, the insurance coordinator, went to great lengths to assist me with ascertaining my new insurance coverage. He was extremely pleasant and efficient to work with and even followed up with me to ensure that I was satisfied with the care I received. Emily on the front desk was also absolutely brilliant, patient and informative and was obviously treating all patients with great care and respect, During my procedure, Juana and Ludivina took wonderful care of me and were highly skilled and reassuring. They were constantly reaffirming that I was comfortable and to their credit I did not experience any discomfort despite the lengthy procedure. In summary, my experience at East Village Dental Centre was immensely positive and I would highly recommend this practice to everyone.

I love this dentist. I found them while trying to find a place to get Invisaligns. Or was it a bad crown and I got my invisaligns with them? Cant remember. They did a routine physical and found a few dental precedures I needed to do 1st and corrected those problems as well. My main reasons for liking them has nothing to do with the invisaligns. although that experience was great, it was the root canal and the crown. They TOTALLY make sure youre comfortable before starting any work. They show you the price BEFORE they start so you know how much its going to cost before they do anything. They give you options on how you want to proceed and they have financing. And #1 is that they make sure you cant feel anything! they give you a topical anistetic before giving you the shots plus my dentist holds your mouth in a certain way to help ensure the needle going in is as comfortable as possible. They dont start right after giving you the medicine. They actually wait until its working. and if you still feel pain, they stop and give you more and wait again. Once they call you back, they have big screen tvs in each cubicle that you can watch while you wait that also serves as a computer screen where they show you your records as they update them!!!! You even get to see any imaging they do! Nothing is hidden from you. Ive been going for at least 3 years and the place is always spotless and If Im on time, I dont have to wait long to be called. If Im early, I get seen early if they have time. Also even though there are a lot of staff there, most of the time I get the same dentist, same hygienist & same assistant!

I am beyond satisfied with the dental care that I received from East Village Dental Office. From the first call to schedule my consultation to having the work done a few days later, my experience was positive. Dr. McWilliams and his team are extremely thorough. He explains everything without sugar coating, but you know that it comes from a place of genuine care for the overall health of your mouth. I appreciate how he checks in to ask if you have questions. They really made me feel good there. I went to EV because I had a missing tooth. I have loss several teeth over the past years and did not want to lose anymore. Prior to going to East Village, I went to two other dentists who presented only one option which was to have the tooth extracted. Dr. McWilliams presented a best case scenario of trying to save the severely broken tooth and the possibility of extracting it. Thankfully, he was able to rebuild the tooth and save it. The procedure was pain free to the point where I think I might have dosed off. He is gentle and does not rush. Over the years, my experience with dentists have not been so great for being made to feel like a walking dollar sign, so when I say that Dr. Williams and his team are exceptional and caring, this means a lot. The office is modern and they use advanced technology from how they take your x-ray to creating your crown while you wait. I would definitely recommend East Village to my family and friends who are looking for a dentist who cares and is highly skilled. I finally got my smile back:-)!

I found this dentist by chance when my wisdom tooth was bothering me to the point where I could no longer sleep for 3 days straight. I had visited about 4 or 5 other dentists for consultation and all of them either denied my insurance or said that the extraction would be 1 or two weeks from now. When I came to Dr. Treinkman my insurance had already been approved over the phone and the surgery could be done without a problem right there and then. The procedure was quick and I barely felt anything more than a tug and some stitches. The recovery was about 3 days of sharp pain that I managed with Ibuprofen and about 4 days of a slightly dull feeling on the side where the tooth was. Since then I have also had a root canal procedure. This surgery was a lot more painful but it was mostly because I am highly resistant to local anesthetic and it wore off constantly during the 1 hr 30 min long procedure. However, Dr. Treinkman and his assistant always made sure that I could cope with the pain during the entire surgery and gave me more anesthetic when it was necessary. Overall Dr. Treinkman and his staff have given me one of the best dentist experiences of my life and I would highly recommend this establishment to everyone.
