I have been a fan of alternative medicine for decades, I prefer hands-on rather than someone who looks at you and gives you drugs to mask the pain. 10 years ago in a period of my worst back pain, a customer recommended Hyde Park Chiropractic. I was introduced to Dr. Balan when I was in tears, at my weakest after major back surgery. The surgeons fixed the problem but not the healing process. She took me in hand and felt where my pain was, discussed my physical behavior and gave me adjustments that eased the pain, right then and there. She gave me exercises that helped me deal with the pain when l was at home alone… AND SHE DID THIS ON NEW YEARS DAY…she left home to come to her office for me on the holiday. I have been going to her regularly because unknowingly I did quite a bit of damage to my body over the years, bad knees, shoulder and posture. Shes got me up on my feet like a 20 year old. Ive taken advantage of her cleanses and supplements that build and fortify my system. Shes amazing. The best and caring medical practitioner Ive ever experienced. Ive recommended her to my family and friends. And recommend her to you too.

I came to Dr. Ballan for chiropractic care when I was about 7 months pregnant, which helped me stay well aligned to facilitate a smooth delivery. I am most grateful though for the acupuncture she did toward the end of my pregnancy. I was scheduled for a hospital induction but the acupuncture helped induce my labor naturally thus reducing the potential need of any interventions. The acupuncture was relaxing, painless, and triggered contractions to get my labor going. I was able to have the natural birth I wanted. Dr. Ballan is highly skilled, caring and holistic in her approach and I would recommend her to any moms looking to have a healthy pregnancy and natural birth.

I had several trips planned and Dr. Balan worked on me so I could travel. Last year I had the hip replacement surgery and I still see Dr. Balan as part of my re-cooperation therapy.
