I would not recommend this eye doctor to anyone. They are unprofessional and unsanitary. I visited it with my daughter in June (trying to support our local businesses)their computer systems were done because they were upgrading. The girls at the front do most of the eye exam and the equipment may be old school but wiping it done with a Kleenex and alcohol does not disinfect it. Nobody uses hand sanitizer after each patient. Not only did I get attitude when I went to pick up my glasses but the response I got from the young lady when I asked a question was mmmhmm. I finally got a word when I asked again if their system was up and running and could I pay with a credit card. The female eye doctor is friendly but she needs to focus on what she is doing, she got my daughters prescription wrong for the glasses and contacts. The doctor has to listen to her patients especially when I kept repeating I speak English and she kept speaking to me in Spanish. I appreciate that she trys because its mostly Latinos that go there. I believe it was a great office once but it has gone downhill since it gotten new owners. Professionalism ,common courtesy and respect is required when you work in a field dealing with patients, customers or any area dealing with people. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I wouldnt recommend anyone to go here, unless you dont have a problem with how unprofessional they are. One of the woman who work there (whose name I cant remember) was not only giving my mother and I attitude, but was impatient with me when THE DOCTOR messed up my perscription. The doctor is friendly/talkative which I didnt have a problem with. Until she continuously kept repeating her mistake in which eye needed more prescription even after I repeatedly corrected her. Then they had trouble finding that I had put money down on my contacts already even though I had a handwritten receipt and continued to give attitude. I cant even get my glasses evened out without recieving attitude. Once I get my corrected glasses and contacts, never will I go there again.

This place is the most unprofessional eye clinic I have ever seen. I only came here because they took my insurance. Even the employee working there told me that some of the frames they carry are counterfeit. I had to ask her "are these Knock offs"? and she would look inside the arm of the eye wear and tell me "yes" or "no". How much Guetto can you get? When I finally decided on a frame she kept rolling her eyes at me and did not make eye contact. I asked for my prescription & called my insurance so I could get my eye wear at another Optical that took my insurance. Luckly there was a place nearby on 65th & Kedzie that was beautiful & even carried original Christian Dior. NEVER COMING BACK TO MIDWEST EYE CLINIC EVER!

My family has been going to this office for several years now. It used to be a good clinic when Dr. Joseph Jackson was there. This afternoon I called trying to make an appointment. I was told to call after 5:00 pm "beacuse they are too busy right now" I think if I am giving them my business they should make the effort to take my call when I have the time to make the call not the other way around. I will be looking for a new clinic for me and my family as of today. The manager at this clinic needs to hire more personnel or sit his butt down and take appointments himself.

WORST PLACE EVER!!!!!! STAFF SO UNPROFESSIONAL THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING,NEVER EVER GOING BACK THERE, THE HAVE A MESS WITH THE FILES, THIS PLACE MAY BE OPEN FOR YEARS BUT IF THEY STILL HAVE THIS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF THEY MAY CLOSE SOON!!!!!!

Brought my mom here at 130pm she 70. Doctor did not show up till 330. Its now 4. OMG Im late to pick up grandaugher by 430 the office is full. What do I do. One thing I wont bring her back gotta check with insurance company.

Never again will I come here to get a vision test or glasses. I have been waiting to receive my glasses and still cant get them. Its been two months today! :/
