I urge you to stay away from Doctor Sam T. Hung at northwestern internal medicine. What he prescribed me actually made my symptoms worse and when seeing another doctor not within the northwestern group, they were shocked by his actions. He prescribed me an antibiotic without confirming that I had the infection he believed I did. This caused my symptoms to worsen. Not to mention I never heard from his office with follow up results. So I wasnt able to determine if I should keep taking the medicine. Thank good I had the sense to go see another doctor. Just dont waste your time and money with Sam Hung. Ive had better care at cvs minute clinic.

We have been going to NWI for over a decade and since they joined the Northwestern Medical Group, the service and availability has become unbearable. We cant see our PCP, Dr. Beth Royston to save our lives, literally. The staff is incredibly unhelpful if not downright rude and incompetent. The patient portal is ineffective and should never be considered an option for scheduling appointments or discussing a condition with our overbooked PCP. When you get an appointment, you feel like cattle being processed as quickly as possible. We are actively looking for another PCP and will recommend you do the same.
