If I could give them zero stars, I would. I hired StarLab to as a mobile phlebotomy company for my clients throughout Chicago. It all started out well until they forgot how to draw blood properly. The blood specimens were constantly rejected and patients had to be re-drawn over and over. All while we were re-imbursing the company for each draw. It almost seemed like a money making scheme? Let it be known that these were all standard protocol draws, too. SST/CPT/EDTA tubes. Dont hire them unless you want them to poke your patients over and over. The kicker was when the owner Richard Felicelda completely stopped responding. As if he fell off the face of the planet. Im sure he was embarrassed that he has no idea how to run a business. Phlebotomists that dont understand phlebotomy, aint that something!

I worked for Richard for one week . He told me he had to train another young lady and the office was to small for the two of us to train together , however he stopped responding after promising me I will start back that following monday,he refuse to answer my calls. The young lady and the two gentleman that worked in the office was very unprofessional they gossiped all day and had nerve to complain about me moving to slow . I was doing over 200 claims a day,answering phones making out going calls to clinics insurance companpies doing follow up calls to patients and taking incoming calls and I still wasnt good enough his lost .Richard does not care about patients he just money hungry and cheap

Not a good experience at all. The lab technician called the some day she wanted to visit my mother. She would not answer my questions about who she worked for, what her full name is, or who order the visit. She actually hung up on me and ask me why I was calling her. She was just rude and very unprofessional. I would not recommend Star Lab to anyone.

Advent Medical

We have been using Star Labs for all our home patients and many office patients and have not had a single negative experience with them. They are quickly responsive to our requests and consistently keep appointments. Results are promptly forwarded. Not a single patient complaint. We will continue using Star Labs for all our chemistry needs.

Im working in a home health company and I scheduled a lab draw for one of our patients ahead of time. Nobody even bothered to inform us that they werent able to draw on scheduled date, I followed up the next day and they informed me that it was re-scheduled. Wasnt worth trying. Poor service. Will not recommend.
