Not real happy with the work performed on our dog. We were traveling to visit family and camp at the lake from Georgia over the 4th of July weekend. Our dog some how endured a shallow juncture wound on his stomach. After taking him to Effingham Vet Clinic we were very happy with the staff, taking us on short notice and a holiday weekend, and the fairness of the pricing. Overall this portion was a great experience. But after returning to GA and taking our dog into his primary vet clinic we learned the care given was sub-par. A drain tube far too large was put in by EVC, the holes created by the tube were nearly as big as the initial injury. The stitches were sloppy and too far apart leaving the wound unable to close after 10 days of bed rest. Our vet had to remove everything, clean it up and properly put in staples to secure the original laceration and add two more sets of staples to close the monstrous holes from the tube. I really do appreciate EVC taking us in a pinch but I am not very happy with the end result.

I trust the vets at Effingham Veterinary Clinic completely. Not only do they spend all the time necessary to take care of my animals, but they address my questions with respect. If I propose an alternative treatment plan, they listen and consider it. They take the time to explain their approach, as well as the time to consider a different perspective. They work with me, rather than simply tell me what needs to be done. These are wonderful doctors who truly care about their patients, and their patients parents.
