I just experienced the absolute worst encounter with a front desk associate and administrator I have ever experienced in my life. I believe I have recieved better customer service at McDonalds than I did from Vanessa and Grace. For starters, Vanessa (front desk associate)gave a very disturbing, rude, and degrading phone call ( 30 mins prior to her scheduled appointment time) to my younger sister this morning. Telling her that the office could not service my neice, because she has a medical card and without even allowing my younger sister to reply with the information Dr. Auroa had given to me to give to the ladies when she called or an opportunity to discuss other financial options, she hung the phone up in my sisters face. While I was in hear site, I became livid! That is very unprofessional and disrespectful for anyone in any kind of customer service industry to do. I called the office back and insisted on speaking with her. I explained to her that My son has been seen by Dr Auora for 4yrs and I spoke with him about my neice and he insisted on her coming in to be seen by him. She lied and said "I did not hang up& my administrator told me we could not see her"I explained to her that I was not speaking about what her administrator told me, but what the owner and I had spoken about when I brung my son in for his four year check up.She placed me on a 5 minute hold( that I did not appreciate). This is when I spoke with the administrator (Grace) who was even worse with communication and delivery.She came on the phone speaking very condescendingly as if I was an idiot and was not a valued legal guardian of a patient that provides finances to the practice that provide salaries and compensations for the associates and employees at Pediatric Associates. She brushed my issue off and told me that she would have Dr Aurora contact me. I told her I would like to speak with him personally (face to face)if she could schedule and appointed time for him and I to speak directly in person. She replied " how can I bill the state for a conversation with him, that would take up chair time and possible production " with a very rude and comdesending tone. I replied " bill it as a consult, sine servicing your patients and the community is of no importance to his practice and he is too high to talk with his patients unless they are paying for his time".She told me she would not do that & she also refused to do an out of pocket fee to service my neice as well. That said several things to me and the most disturbing thing was; we are all about $$ & nothing else matters,if $$ is not involved. I did not appreciate this service and could not believe such unprofessionalism was displayed. I thought very highly of this place and has referred serval babies here in the past. Not anymore.
