I dont agree with the bad reviews because Ive been there for over 9 years and they treated everyone nicely. There has never been anything in the food and most of the nurses are really nice. Some are usually ignorant and or rude because its either the patient always wants something or they just hate their job. Lol. I really like their security team! They are really nice and kind and friendly! The ER team is really good and nice and everything else is good. I am a junior volunteer this year and I will do it again because its really fun. You build character and be some more polite. Its pretty easy to get a job and i believe its one of the top in the nation. When my mom was in the hospital, both times, everyone was pretty good and friendly.

Over the last 10 years I have quite a bit of experience wirh this hospital. My mother was suck for quite a few years before passing. We probably made 30-40 trips to the emergency room and she always received excellent care. She was admitted quite a few times and we always became acquainted with the nurses and aides. There were very few times there was slow response. We would discover it was due to life-threatening events on the floor. I myself was a patient for 2 hip replacement surgeries, and again I obtained wxcellent care. And to those of you who say go to snother local hospital, I buried two friends who died from negligence on their emergency room. Both families received considerable settlements over their deaths.

While they claim to be a heart hospital they are not and far from it. In November of 2015 they killed my mother a 54 year old woman. She went in having had a heart attack they placed 4 stents and was supposed to place another 2 in 2-3 days well they didnt do that instead they sent her home 2days later she died from a 90% blockage in her artery where there should have been another stent added. I requested from the beginning they give me answers and i wanted her moved to Barnes but they refused even after she was strong enough to bed moved. I have not been contacted back by the hospital about getting my questions answered they just dont care. Please dont send a loved one there unless you want them to die.

Worthless POS docs just pushing people through til 5pm. Brought our little brother there who is in his first manic episode, he has barely slept or ate for a week straight, he can barely speak cohesively They asked if he was suicidal or wanted to harm others. When he finally responded to the questions, he said- well not today, 2 days ago yes, but not TODAY, today he was happy. Good enough for them, gave us a psychiatrists name and off we go?!? So, apparently theres no worries until hes ready to kill himself or others (again). DO NOT BOTHER BRINGING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE, save the gas and just burn your copay instead. Unbelievable.

Worst hospital in the world. I wouldnt take my worst enemy there. I went there with fever, sore throat and mucsle aches. They said my white blood cells were elevated and my heart rate was elevated. They ran test and said I had some kind of infection but didnt know what it was from. They gave me antibiotics (doxycycline) but it ended up being strep throat which those antibiotics dont help. So I called to see if they could prescribe me different ones and they refused to even let me speak with the "Dr. They said the doctors dont come to the phone". What kind of service is that??? I will NEVER go there again.

These people are trash calling themselves professionals! My friend called for some information and this ER nurse was so rude, cutting him off saying we dont give nedical advice, before he even asked his question, that didnt have nothing to do with medical advice. Why the heck you call yourself a nurse if you cant answer a medical question!? She was still rude and told him if he needed advice to call 911! This fool was not hearing him out with the question he still had. Never will call or seek services there again!

I didnt have to wait to long to be seen but the care I received was terrible, I pay high ins premiums and this hosital charges a high rate for what, their so called nursing care!!! I know I hit that emergency light 2 or 3 times and they never came to my aid. It took FOREVER for a nurse to come in my room, we had to ask for blankets, no one even asked if I needed a blanket, no one ever even told me their name. This place is a JOKE AND I WILL NEVER EVER GO TO THIS ER AGAIN!!!

First I want to start off by saying this place sucks big time. Its clear when u look at me that im in pain. Anytime u see a person in tears u would think they have a problem. Now when I tell a doctor that Im in pain u can actually see my complaint, its not like Im making something up. They dont care here and they should be shut down. They dont have a really long wait cause there is no one ever here and now I Kno why. Wish I could give 0 stars.

This is by far the absolute worst hospital i have ever visited. I asked can my wife be released and the staff was so rude and said no and wouldnt explain why just said thats their policy only doctors can release patients. Explained to them my wife is unhappy with her treatment here and would like to be treated elsewhere and the head nurse said we dont care and if she leaves we will make sure insurance doesnt pay. Worst hospital ever.

1 other person in waiting room, get to a room and sit for over an hour waiting to be seen. When being registered I was asked what my pain scale was 1-10, I said 50. While sitting in the room I hear several nurses/cna s chatting and laughing. Puts you in an even worse mood. Told they are busy but everyone is behind the desk. Not happy about being in pain forever and nothing being done to ease it.

If you are a type 1 diabetic they will probably kill you. Worst er visit i have ever had. There was 4 people in the loby yet i still waited 3 hours. Then another 2.5 hours after the doctor had seen me. Registration staff was awesome but doctors and nurses i had were completely ignorant to type 1 diabetes and anxiety disorders. Seemed more like a party than a hospital.

My mother had a clot in her heart at 48 dropped dead in my kitchen called a ambulance they did CPR and she died before she got to hospital and they sent a bill in her name for over 500 dollars for CPR then did not give me all her jelwery and said they did later on I found out they forgot a ring and gave it to another family member how does that happen really?

Nurses and doctors are rude and do not listen to their patients. They roll their eyes and discuss patient information in the open. The care is adequate, not exceptional. The housekeeping, cafeteria, and techs are wonderful and polite, unfortunately, they arent the ones taking care of the patients all the time.
