My family and I have been with Wheatland Dental for over 10 years. Over the past few years we have sensed greater dissatisfaction. The dentist *Yazzzi* and the hygienist are great and we have no problem with the work performed. This is why we have been around so long! My issues and frustrations are perhaps due to the growth of the practice, but I do not know. 1. It would be easier to just log on to a portal and book my appointments directly in attempt to find a match. Its painful and there seems to be no flexibility. I often get voicemail and then have to wait for someone to call me back to reschedule. They make it too difficult to do the right thing. 2. In the past 6 months, I waited over 45 minutes after cleaning to see a dentist. They did apologize and sent a Starbucks card to me, which I thought was a nice gesture. 3. I too, have been, a recipient of the fee charged for missing appointments on the day of. I understand it may be frustrating for the business when people cant make it. But, LIFE happens and things happen on a daily basis to your clients. I think Wheatland Dental needs to consider how their fees impact their clients. Is charging clients really generating loyalty or showing you care about your clients? Still a fan, but starting to question my experiences!

They are just after my money. My son was supposed to have some dental procedure done. I asked them how much it would cost me out of pocket as soon as I went to their office. I asked 2 of their receptionist/ staff. They took my son inside and started the procedure on him without informing me how much its going to cost me. I was waiting in the reception for the information the whole time. Then they inform me that insurance is not going to cover the cost and I would have to pay for the procedure myself (they were half way through the procedure when they informed me this). My son had his teeth cleaned twice a year. However the dental hygienist recommended that his teeth be cleaned for the third time - so they started this procedure - without informing me. This is not the first time I felt uneasy about this place. I have healthy teeth. They however call me and my family members every 3 months and tells us we need this procedure done and that procedure done. Once, they called me and said that their dentist had recommended me for dental extraction during my last visit. I was taken aback! I have healthy teeth and I just need to have it cleaned once or twice a year.

Wheatland Dental cares more about the money than the relationship with their customers. I was a loyal customer for years and one time I missed an appointment. They charged me $30 for not showing up and then sent me letters every month reminding me about it because I would not pay. So many times I sat in their office waiting 15-30 minutes for my appointment because THEY were late. I could see if I was a problem customer who cancelled all the time - but it rarely if ever happens. They rotate people through the office like cattle and try to add on everything they can to your bill or procedure to maximize their profit. Only after I sent them an email stating I would give bad reviews in social media did they remove the fee. Too late. Wheatland: pay attention to your loyal customers and take care of them. We are not an open wallet for you to pick dollars out of and there are MANY other places to go where they care more about you as a person.

They deserve this one star only because they are friendly. Every time I go into this office I have some issue that cost a ridiculous amount. I honestly think they just try to convince you that you need work done just to get more money. Ive wasted so much money at this practice it makes me furious. I recently switched over to a new dentist that actually makes me excited to go there (first time in my entire life). I cracked a tooth and it became infected but they wouldnt see me until two weeks out just for a consultation. At the new dentist I was seen right away and put on antibiotics. My current dentist said had I not come in I could have been in serious trouble. I also have to get all of my fillings redone (at no cost at the new place) because the ones they did at Wheatland are absolutely awful. So happy I switched I do not recommend them at all. If anyone needs a recommendation in this area let me know he is literally the best.

Wheatland Dental is a ultra-modern dentistry spot off of 111th Street and 59th in Naperville. Not that decor matters much when it comes to visitin the dentist, but Wheatland Dentals flat screen TVs, chic design, and magazine racks from THIS century is awesome. (Not to mention youre not left to rot away in the waiting room - I only had to wait less than 2 minutes even though I was early, so I could tell that they really valued patients time!) I went in for an annual cleaning with Dr. Charfe. He actually spent time with me making sure all of my questions were answered before we got started, which really put me at ease since sharp metal things + by my mouth = nerve-racking. Most of the time I walk away from cleanings feeling vaguely abused, by Dr. Charfe was gentle on my gums and it was no big deal at all. All other staff members I encountered were super sweet and I will definitely be using them regularly.

Went here for about 4 or 5 years and always loved the hygenists and the rooms, but after going to another dentist to get an estimate on an oral surgery I realized that the dentist at Wheatland are very hasty and uninformative to you. They also tried charging $3400 more than my new DDS for my surgery. Needless to say I will never return to Wheatland ever again. Lower level staff is great but it appears that the dentists and surgeons are much more interested in filling their pockets. Check out the Glassdoor reviews from former employees and you will see that this is true. To the owners, do not try convincing me that I am wrong or that you will satisfy my complaints. Work on your business model and treat your employees better, they are great people and deserve better.

I have been a patient since 2000. Kim Z. is a rock star! Very thorough and informative. I leave feeling confident that my needs have been met and any concerns with my teeth have been addressed. I typically see Dr. Yazdi, she is kind & attentive. The office staff is great too. They are very prompt in answering my insurance questions. I did see a post about scheduling with one Doctor or hygienist and coming in and find out you have been switched. Im not sure if this is still an issue, but all that you need to do is ask that it be marked on your chart that you do not want to be switched. I havent had a problem since this was noted on my chart.
