The reason I am giving a 3 star review is because it was a mixed experience. My wife and I have both used Ivory Dental. My personal experience was fine. No problems all was good. They were on time with the appointment and great interaction with the dr. and his assistant. My wifes experience was great her first appointment. Dr. Patel was wonderful. My wife HATES dentists but actually walked out of the appointment with Dr. Patel feeling really good despite finding out she needed an emergency root canal. Upon her return for her crown the experience was not nearly as good. Since then I of course wrote my review based on our combined experiences and the Dr. personally reached out to my wife to make things right. While it is too soon to say whether things are 5 star good at this point we do appreciate Dr. Patels offer to make things right from my wifes second visit to their establishment. I will let you know once everything is said and done with another follow up review.

Beware! I had a very bad experience at this facility. I was in need of an extraction when I visited. They took ex-rays, gave dental advice, etc... They did just about everything, except what I came there for which was to have a tooth pulled. After over an hour, they referred me to a Specialist some 20 miles away. Several months later, I receive an invoice for $200. I disputed the invoice, but to no avail. They reported me to a collection agency and of course now I have a ding to my credit, which I believe is unfair. I really believe that since it was a new facility, they were desperate for revenue... at the patients expense. Hopefully you will be treated better.

I cant say enough about how wonderful Ivory Dental is! From the moment I stepped in the door the staff was nothing short of professional, kind, and caring. I have brought my 2 young daughters (ages 3 and 6) as well. They were put at such ease by Kim and Dr. Patel that having their annual cleaning was a breeze! I enjoy that when I have work done I dont have to just stare awkwardly at the ceiling anymore, they have a variety of shows on DVD to choose from to watch while you are having any procedures done in the office. They take the time to explain EVERYTHING to you. I am so happy I have found a new PERMANENT dentist in the area! Thank you Ivory Dental!!!!

Dr Shefali Patel is by far the best dentist Ive ever been to. Most people hate going to the dentist, but she makes things so painless, hassle-free, and worth the drive from Chicago. She provides a great amount of anticipatory guidance to better dental health. Shes very knowledgeable and I have had absolutely no problems with any of the dental work she has done for me. The one thing I really appreciated about Dr. Shefali was the extra effort she took to prevent me actually seeing the needle for numbing. Those extra touches make all the difference in the world. Again, love Dr. Shefali and recommend her and Ivory Dental 150%!

I lost my crown on a Monday night and got in on a Tuesday at lunch time. [New patient also] Great staff from the front desk all the way back to hygienist and Dr. Patel. Dr. Patel took time to explain everything that was going to done. I am a big wimp when it comes to the dentist, but that was the most gentle cleaning I ever had. Was told I needed a root canal and went into panic mode. Came in two weeks later and had Dr. Hammad Khan do it and it was like a trip to disneyland compared to the one I had a couple years ago. I am still not to keen on going to the dentist, but this place makes me feel a lot better about going.

My first time to a dentist in almost 20 years. I expected the worst, but hoped for the best. Well, the best is what I got. The staff here is extremely helpful and friendly. They made my first trip to the dentist in forever very easy. I was given a thorough explanation of the procedures I need to have done (which thankfully wasnt as bad as I thought) and was in and out for my initial consultation in no time at all. I am looking forward to my next few visits, and getting my oral health back in order. I will recommend Dr. Patel, and this office in general to everyone I know.

I cant remember the last time Ive seen a dentist, but the 1st thing I noticed when I walked in was everyones friendly smiles and how friendly everyone is with their patient walking in the door, which made it very comforting for me as I walked over to the front desk. The Dr was so nice and made me feel really comfortable, she could have taken all my teeth out and I would have been ok with it, lol. Her assistant Alex, awesome explaining everything that was going to happen, made me feel at ease. Thank you for the service, loved it!

Dr. Shefali Patel was our familys dentist for years. I dreaded the first time I took my daughter to the dentist based on horror stories I heard. Not only did my daughter walk out smiling after her appointment with Dr. Patel, but she asked me when we could go back! Dr. Patel was kind, thorough, gentle, and skilled - all the things you hope for in your (and your kids) dentist. PLUS, shes obviously a great judge of character because her office staff and hygienist are just as wonderful! I HIGHLY recommend her!!!!

Ivory Dental gave my 3 year old a fantastic dental experience. We went in for his very first dental visit and he now loves the dentist! Kim, our hygienist, was remarkable with him (from introducing every tool, to letting him brush the giant teeth). No need for a pediatric dentist with this Dr Patel in town! We recently moved to IL and therefore in need of new Drs all around - Im so happy to have given Ivory Dental a try. Needless to say, my whole family will have their next appointments here.

I was very happy today when the office called me this AM to tell me they have an earlier opening. Im always early for appointments, but they did call me back at the time my appoinyne was for, so I was glad I didnt have to wait. The entire office staff was generally happy and nice to me. I was given very detailed information about the problem I went in for. Doctor Patel and the entire staff was excellent. Kudos to all of them. Ill be back in another month for my routine cleaning.

Our family of 5 has been going to Ivory Dental since we moved to Plainfield 11 years ago. We love them! Dr. Patel is absolutely fabulous and the staff takes such wonderful care of all of us. They are very patient with our ever changing crazy schedules and work with us to find workable appointment times. The office is spotless and the care placed into making our visits swift, painless and even enjoyable is consistently fantastic.
