The staff here is excellent. The receptionists send me an appointment reminder text the week before my appointments and a call the day before. Theyre open longer hours than any other dentist Ive been to. The hygienists and dentists are very friendly. I chose to go to Estrella due to word of mouth. I had a cleaning/exam done about 8 months ago at a place in McHenry (I think the name was All Family Dental) and it took maybe about one minute so I had a bad feeling about it. Chose to pay out of pocket (insurance only covers one cleaning/exam per year) to go to Estrella for an exam. Turns out I have a cracked filling and a loose one. Both in molars and both very big fillings. Due to risk of exposing nerve the dentists here are opting to remove fillings and cover with crowns. Went in for the temporary crown today and they showed me the picture of the cracked filling. The filling is also pulling away from the tooth. All very noticeable and has obviously been a problem for a while. Leakage as well. Yeah, that can lead to mercury poisoning. Look up how the term Mad Hatters came about. The dentist explained to me how billing works and why other places have neglected this very important issue. Disgusted knowing my health was jeopardized because other places wouldnt make enough money off of my insurance company or myself for the work that I actually needed. I would definitely recommend Estrella.

This dentist was horrible. My insurance recommended them but they did not even clean my teeth and when I had them fill cavities for me they numbed my mouth so much that I could not feel my face for hours and hours after my appointment. They had scheduled me into an hour slot but over half of that time the dentist and hygenist spent on other patients. I had only small cavities but to speed up the fillings this hack job took over half of my tooth away. them when she put the filling in she slapped it down so fast that I no longer have crests on my molars. I now have to go to another dentist to have her work corrected, it hurts to chew! Do not go to this women this place obviously prefers quantity over quality! BEWARE!

Terrible. My daughter went there about a year ago. She walked in without pain and left in pain and days later had to have a root canal on the tooth this office worked on, we went to a different dental office. I was there and had my initial exam and came up with a plan. I was told I had 11 cavities, all my fillings needed to be replaced and my enamel was thin. I went to a different dental office and had a real exam where they explained everything and showed me everything. I didnt have any cavities, no cracked fillings and my enamel is normal. DONT GO HERE! The new dental office called this past week to get records and the receptionist asked my new office how to spell dentistry. Can I give zero stars?

The experience here was horrible from the start. I was in the waiting room waiting for an hour after the time that I was supposed to go in. Even when I asked the receptionist how long the wait time was going to be, she would say for about 5 minutes. Those 5 minutes turned into another half hour. When I was getting my cavities filled, I received the numbing shots. After getting the shots, the dentist found out that her tools were not ready to go. They were having technical difficulties. Also while I was on my back with my mouth open, the drill bit from the dentist fell into my mouth. Can you imagine what kind of damage it would have caused if I had accidentally swallowed it?

I love the entire staff at Estrella Dental! Especially Dr. Abbas, Jasmine, Elizabeth, & Bianca. The high-quality service that Ive received from each of them, at literally every appointment Ive had yet, amazes me every time. Theyre all kind, funny, & make me feel like family. I so appreciate this dentist office. From the first moment I came to them for a consultation, Elizabeth made me feel so comfortable. (I was self-conscious & embarrassed, as I was way overdue for a check-up.). Dr. Abbas explained his long term plan-of-action for my teeth and his beautiful work has me smiling again.

Went their for a bad tooth open nerve in tooth but these jackasses started to clean my teeth instead of fixing the bad tooth or at least telling me to come back for root canal or extraction why would mess around someone mouth with a bad tooth with an open nerve that will only irritate the bad tooth DUH !!! Dentist 101 and I never went to school for that come on COMMON SENSE IS GOLD !! BUNCH OF GOOFBALLS !! I FEEL for any KID with BAD/ GOVERNMENT insurance that has to go here that KID is going to be in PAIN !! I dont so I will be canceling my appointment tomorrow !!!

My daughters first time going to the dentist and she loved it here. I was worried due to the fact that im new to this area, but honestly with how well they treated her i was convinced this was our families new dentist spot. Im so impressed with the staff and how helpful and welcoming they made me feel. They even helped me out to save me some money on my daughters costs!!!! :)

I, myself, am now a patient there and could not be happier with the visit! On my first visit I was in pain and needed to get a tooth extracted. The fear of dentist has always been one of my biggest fears. I told the receptionist and she told the nurse and from then on it was a piece of cake!!! I even made a follow-up appointment. Friendly receptionists and the first doctor I saw was great.

I came in for a root canal didnt expect to get it done that same day but glad I got it done. Dentist was AMAZING and did a great job. No more hurting and the staff are very gentle and friendly frequently asking how I was doing. Best dentist Ive been to ever since a little girl Very recommended. ! ☺

Great receptionists Elizabeth and Bianca. Its an amazing dentist. Dr. Park laid it out straight about my issue flawlessly yanked my bad tooth and got me outta pain. Was also able to see me fast before my appointment because of pain. Would highly recommend this office for dental work.
