I was referred to Dr. Klein for TMJ treatment. I worked with her over the course of three years to correct my jaw position. There are some thing I wish I had know before starting this treatment. I asked how much it would cost and never got a straight answer. The truth is you get charged hourly, and treatment could take years. By the time I left I had spent $7,000 and she estimated it would be another $3000 for "phase 3". I was assured that my insurance (I have primary and secondary) would cover most of the cost and that the office staff would "work diligently" to get the services covered. My experience with insurance was a nightmare. You have to submit all your own paperwork and harass the insurance company for payment. Alpine Dental just gave me the forms and sent me on my way. Because her hourly rate is so outrageous, neither insurance would cover it. I was out a lot of time and money, not to mention the stress of haggling with insurance companies. The third thing is if you have an appointment scheduled for an hour you should bring some reading materials and plan to be there AT LEAST two hours. Im not exaggerating when I say I waited more for Dr. Klein than any other service Ive received in my life. The day she gave me the $3000 "estimate" for phase 3 I left and never returned. I found an orthodontist who has actual credentials (from a school of dentistry) for the treatment of TMJ. It took another $5000 and 18 months in braces for him to fix my TMJ. Today I am headache free, thanks to Dr. Kozak (Kenosha, WI). My advice to anyone considering this treatment is to ask your questions up front, get the total treatment cost in writing, and get a second opinion! I wish I had.

I have been going to see Dr. Klein for my TMJD for a few years now and she has been a lifesaver. My jaw was locked and I was in pain when I first came to see her and with some expertly created appliances that herself and her team came up with, they have given me my life back and continue to help me heal on the road to recovery from years of wrong orthodontic treatments I endured as a teen. She is a downright genius when it comes to the jaw as well as countless other areas of the head, neck, and body. I highly recommend to anyone for any dental or head issue. As the writer stated below, the cost might be on the high end, but to be out of pain and be able to avoid any sort of invasive surgery is extremely worth it to me, and Dr. Klein really works with you to help be as cost affective as she can be while delivery top of the line treatment. She is truly a blessing and I am thankful for her and her teams hard work and dedication to their patients.

My family has been seeing Dr. Klein for ten years. We each have brought different dental issues and the quality care we have received has brought us relief and confidence. I resisted seeing Dr. Klein for seven years because I had to travel an hour and a half to her office. Instead I went to a dentist closer to me and had jaw surgery. Instead of relief, I experienced a dramatic increase in pain. My treatment with Dr. Klein has resolved much of that pain and her ongoing support and treatment is outstanding. Dr. Klein treats the whole patient and uses practises that I can SEE work -right when I am standing there. Her entire staff is positive and skilled. My children, husband and I enjoy our time at the Alpine Dental group. Which I consider, a major plus! Thank you to Dr. Debbie and her wonderful staff. You are a blessing in our lives!!

Not good . The dentist removed the wire from my sons braces for a hygiene appointment and then put back on wrong causing a sore on his cheek and a tooth that turned. Orthodontist not happy and s/t wires should never be removed by the dentist. Then she orders a $300 X-ray of his jaw that he did not need. Told me his jaw was " dislocated " it was not and I had to pay out of pocket for it . And finally if thats not enough she told me my other son had 2 cavities when he didnt .. I am reporting this practice ..highly advise not to go here.

I have been going to Dr Klein for over 20 years and I am absolutely DELIGHTED with her skill, knowledge, expertise and kindness. She also has a terrific office staff. Who really WANTS to go to the dentist, right? Well, Dr Klein makes going to the dentist a good experience! She thoroughlly explains what is needed. She has a vast knowledge of both allopathic and so called alternative methodologies. I HIGHLY recommend this dental practice! If Dr Klein is booked ask for Dr Nova - they are both wonderful!
