We recently visited Forest Ortho and Peds Dentistry in Round Lake Beach. We have 3 kids, including one special needs child. Our experience was amazing and we will be highly recommending them to all of our family and friends. From making the appointment, to the end of the visit, we received the best customer service. The location was convenient, the rooms were clean. The kids loved playing with the iPads in the lobby during our short wait. When we first went back, they educated our kids on brushing their teeth thoroughly, and used the green toothpaste to show them where they were missing spots. The toothbrushes they gave them to use where quality kids toothbrushes, not giveaways. Then, they got to choose what movie to watch while they did their cleaning. The Dental Hygienist Christine made my son and daughter feel extremely comfortable in the butterfly room, while my older daughter sat in the cleaning station in the middle of the office area. At our previous dentist we had to hold our special needs daughter down for cleanings. At Forest, they made my daughter feel such at ease, and explained each step of the process, she was able to complete an entire cleaning on her own with no restraints. Normally, my kids are afraid of the dentist, but not Dr. Michael. He explained what he was going to do, before he did it. He connected with each of the kids, and reached them at their level – they were so happy to see him. He also has experience with special needs kids. I am happy that we switched to Forest Ortho and Peds Dentistry and the kids look forward to returning in 6 months for their next cleaning.

I am so happy that we have found Forest Orthodontics. The office is clean and welcoming, the staff are friendly and extremely competent, and my children feel very comfortable in the inviting and kid friendly environment. I have three children and Dr. Anokhs warm and calm demeanor somehow can even make my 3-old-year sit through a cleaning! One of my children needs orthodontic work and Dr. Derek has been incredibly supportive and informative about the process. He easily connected with my son and he cant wait for his braces. I took advantage of the adult orthodontic services and I am thrilled with the results of my invisalign thus far. I cant wait to see the finished product! I know that my family is in good hands at Forest and I would highly recommend this practice to any parent or family!

This office is great! Dr. Derek is awesome. I see him for my Invisalign treatment and I have never felt more comfortable at any other Dental/Orthodontic office before. Dr. Derek and his staff take their time and make sure all my questions and concerns are answered. I actually look forward to my appointments, the staff is great from the moment you walk in and through out your entire appointment. I highly recommend this office for anyone looking for a Pediatric Dentist or an Orthodontist.

My daughter has been coming to this clean and beautiful office since she sprouted her first tooth! She and I absolutely LOVE Dr. Michael!!!! She is not a fan of brushing her teeth willingly, but Dr. Michael makes her feel comfortable and she lets him clean her teeth without a fight! He is so good with children. The office staff is amazing and very helpful. I will continue bringing her here and when my sons teeth emerge he will be coming to the practice as well!

Getting braces as an adult can be difficult, so I was extremely excited when I came to this office for my free consultation, and came to find out that I could straighten my smile with Invisalign. I started my Invisalign treatment here over a month ago, and I have had a great experience, the staff and Dr. Derek are professional, friendly and take the time to explain everything to you. Would strongly recommend to anyone who is looking for an orthodontist.

We love Dr. Micheal and office manager Denise! Dr. Michael is professional, kind and thorough. Our daughter has special needs and Denise went above and beyond to arrange for Dr. Michael to complete a needed dental procedure at Lurie Childrens Hospital. She even connected us to resources we didnt know were available. We were very happy with her care.

Everyone there is so nice and funny! Every assistant I get makes me feel comfortable when I get my ortho checkups. When my grandma takes me, they are very helpful with translating in Spanish and Dr. Derek is awesome!
