I would recommend Oswego Vision, Dr. Hein and his staff highly! I was impressed with the office staff and Dr. Heins professionalism from my very first experience, about a year and a half ago, when I went in at the recommendation of a friend for new bifocal sunglasses. From the front office to the assistants to the professionals in the optical area, every person was friendly, professional and helpful! Several weeks ago I went back for my annual exam and to order new glasses. When the frames arrived (on time) I noticed - as usual - that I had a little trouble adjusting, but decided to wear them out for a few days to adjust to the new prescription. A few days later I was still experiencing some eye strain, and was quickly fit in for a re-check. While everything measured out fine on paper, it seemed the placement of the line on my "no line bifocal" was not working for me. Dr. Hein and his staff made some adjustments to the prescription - and the new lenses that arrived a few days later were perfect! I appreciate that I was seen quickly upon experiencing a problem, and that they were so attentive. It would have been easy to say "the prescription is correct, and the glasses were made to the prescription," but this team did what was needed to make me comfortable and satisfied.

My daughter has been wearing glasses since she was 18 months but I was never truly told what her vision was with her glasses until she was seen by Dr. Hein at the age of 16. Since she has Down Syndrome it is sometimes hard for her to understand what is being asked of her. Dr. Hein was great with communicating with her so he could get an accurate diagnosis. He was also great with explaining to me what her vision capabilities are and what to expect as she gets older. I cant imagine taking my daughter anywhere else now.

I have been going to Oswego Vision for as long as I have needed eye care (20 years!). Dr. Hein has always taken care of my eyes, but I have worked with the other doctors on staff and had good experiences. The office staff greets me by name, and always asks about my family. They are lovely people. From their first office on main street, to the office on route 34, to where they are now - - They will always be my eye doctor!! BTW - they can fix your bent - crooked glasses in NO TIME. I love Oswego Vision!

Only positive thing at this clinic is Dr Cha, she was very friendly and thorough. However, my insurance was billed for contacts that I never ordered or received, which we only found out when we tried to order through our vision insurance and were told that we couldnt order conctacts again. They tried to force me into buying contacts that were twice the price of the ones I had been wearing for over 15 years. Its been a nightmare trying to get our refund back from their fraudulent billing practices.

My visits to Oswego Vision are always quick and easy. The appointments always seem to be running on schedule; Ive never had to wait longer than 10 minutes or so. They are also very accommodating to your schedule and its typically really simple to get an appointment that works. Morning appointments are the best for me with work, and Ive never had an issue setting one up.

8.18.16 2:15pm -Just called for the first time to make an appointment. I need an evening appointment because I work full time days. Was told there isnt an appt available for 4 weeks. Was asked if that will work. I replied No Ill need something sooner. Phone person replied Okay. Sorry. Buh bye. You never get a second chance to make a first impression.

Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! I am not sure what Dr. Hein does to keep all the negative reviews off the internet. If I had the option I would have given him negative 5 stars. He shoved my 5 year old hard enough that we had to take her to ER to get a chest X-ray to make sure everything is okay. The nurse and the Dr. Hein refuse to acknowledge the incident.
