We have our first dog, adopted from a shelter, so our level of understanding the needs of a dog were limited. We were referred to Christensen Animal Hospital by a friend and it was the best referral Ive ever received! We go to Dr. Locher, who is outstanding- from how he treats our dog to how he speaks to and communicates with us is fantastic. Every person at that hospital takes a genuine concern in your pet and loves what they do. From a nail trim to surgery on an obstructed bowl, they are masters of their craft. I would very highly recommend Christensen and we love Dr. Locher. Simply the BEST!

We have been friends and patients at Christensen for 20 years. We have seen our first two bichons live to 17 and 18 years thanks to the wonderful treatment they received there. Dr. Moll and his staff have been compassionate, loving, and technically expert in caring for our past and current dogs. We also have used Christensen for all our boarding needs, and feel completely comfortable and confident in leaving each of the dogs in their care. My family has nothing but good things to say, and Stan and Iggy thank everyone as well!

Our first vet visit with our new puppy was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. The amiable and helpful staff set a positive tone from the moment we walked through the door. The vet techs and Dr. Joshua Locher were wonderful in examining our pup and detailing what we currently need and what to expect down the road, as far as 6 mons+. All shots and medicines were provided at a very reasonable cost. We look forward to all of our future visits at Christensen Animal Hospital and highly recommend it to any pet owner.

We have found the care our pets have received at Christensen to be excellent. When we adopted a shelter dog, she nearly died from a respiratory ailment and Dr. Locher was able to asses the problem and help her in a very cost effective manor. When one of my neighbors dogs needed emergency care, they were able to fit her in and care for her like she was a long lost friend. Everyone there is truly wonderful.

Ive taken pets here for 25 years. It is also the only place I have ever boarded my dog. You and your pets are greeted like family, promptly taken to an exam room and receive the best of care. Dr. Moll and staff doesnt hesitate to consult experts anywhere in the country if he wants advice or another opinion and has a state of the art laser surgery center on hand. I would recommend them to anyone.

Our two boxer puppies Tootsie and Otto love Dr. Moll, Dr. Locher and all of the vet techs and staff at Christensen. The medical care that they receive from the staff at Christensen is great and both Toots and Otto love staying overnight because they are well taken care of and get tons of attention and kisses. We feel so fortunate to have Christensen help care for our puppies.

Our pups have been with Dr Moll for over 30 years. We have been through 4 cancers, Cushings disease and one of our Goldens survived a life threatening accident with a car on Lake Avenue in Wilmette.
