I had two impacted wisdom teeth. One was very painfull and infected, I called several oral surgeons for consultation. Dr. Devitt sounded like the best on the phone, saying he would make the procedure as painless as possible and keep me comfortable after my surgery until I was healed. The surgery was a nightmare he was very rough and acted like he was in a hurry to move on to his next patient at one point he almost choked me pressing his finger againts the pocket of my tooth trying to extract a piece that had broken off. After my surgery they rushed me out of the office with a couple instructions, a gause pad and a pamphlet. After the numbness wore off I was in the most pain of my life. I called just to tell them that the pain medicine was not working like I think it should and just needed them to call in something stronger. The nurse insisted on making another appointment for me to come in. After I drove 15 miles accross town Dr. Devitt told me that it was normal to be sore and spent more time telling me not to smoke than address my pain. After a week and a half my bottom lip is still swollen and my chin is still numb. I would not reccomend this dentist to anyone unless you want to be in pain and be treated like a drug seeker when you ask for stronger medication. For $670.00 you should have a doctor that listens to you!

one of my wisdom teeth had suddenly impacted itself in my gums and was causing me a lot of pain. i called friday to schedule an appointment on monday and i personally found the staff to be very kind and professional. when i arrived for my appointment i had to wait for about 30min before being called back there. im very uncomfortable around dentists and doctors and the whole idea of oral surgery made me very uncomfortable, but the staff and dr. devitt were both very understanding and patient with me. he listened to my concerns and helped make the experience as easy as possible for me. it took him less than 15min to remove all four of my wisdom teeth and afterward i experienced absolutely no pain and very little soreness or swelling. i was very impressed with him and the staff both as professionals who knew how to do their job and as people who were patient and very accommodating. id definitely recommend him.

The staff were very unfriendly, and I was treated like an object rather than a person. The doctor and nurse shoved my head around, gave me a shot without telling me they were about to, and when I protested they scolded me saying I should have expected it. I had told them in advance that I was nervous and to please tell me what they were going to do before they did it, and they completely ignored my request. It was very painful, and even though I used good manners I was treated very poorly. I would never go back there again. I asked if I could keep my tooth, and they said sometimes they do, but that they wouldnt let me because the blood on it was a biological hazard, but my mouth was bleeding heavily when I left, so I dont understand the logic there. I would never ever consider going back.

I went to Timothy Devitt upon being referred there with a broken jaw. My experience was targeted to the least effective, most expensive treatment I could afford, leading to years of anguish and pain as I recovered with what I assume is a now misaligned jaw. The procedure was rough and painful, and Timothy spent much of the time distracted, and telling of horrific dental torture stories. Instead of a followup to see how I was doing, the office misfiled my insurance, handed my account to one of the most ruthless and unethical collection agencies around, and washed their hands of it. Youd be better off crossing state lines for your dental care.

I was recommended to this surgeon by my dentist to get my wisdom teeth removed and have to say that I am very impressed. I went in for a consultation to see how much it would cost to get all four teeth removed and within a week I was already scheduled for the surgery. The entire process was quick and mostly painless with the staff being very friendly with me the entire time. But the thing that impressed me the most was when later that day, about 5-6 hours after my surgery, I got a call from Dr. Devitt asking me if everything was fine and if I was having any problems. Overall, I would recommend this dental surgeon to anyone I know.

Dr. Devitt did a great job with me. I went to get all 4 wisdom teeth taken out under local anesthesia, and I was out after about no more than 20 minutes (one tooth was partially impacted). I would describe the overall surgery as very efficient. And despite all the horror stories I had heard about what recovery was like, I was actually pain-free by the next day. I didnt have to take any painkillers. True, my teeth werent too bad but my relatively pain-free recovery is also credit to the job he did.

Dr Devitt was amazing. I saw him this morning for a tooth extraction. Im severely dental phobic and Dr Devitt sat me down and walked me through everything. He was super kind and patted me on the shoulder because I was scared. He walked me through extracting both my front teeth and was just amazing. He numbed me up better than any other dentist has before. I very much recommend him, especially if you are scared of dentists

Had a problem with a cracked tooth that led to painful swelling. My dentist recommended Dr. Devitt - and within an hour I went over and the tooth was extracted. Amazingly, Dr Devitt called me at home that evening (on a Friday night!) to check up on how I was progressing. Very attentive care.

Its was amazing compared to others iv been to. Dr. Devit was so fast and virtually pain free the whole time. I have some very funky teeth problems but he went right to work with no problems and it was over in a material of about 5 min or less. Wow. Absolutely amazing people!!!!
